True, but the instability is due to entirely different reasons. And we've seen no evidence Jack will be a squadmate as it's been confirmed every former squadmate is getting a redesign.

Besides, we have Grunt even though we originally had Wrex. Similar skillsets doesn't mean similar characters.

I'm pretty sure Jack will be back. Apparently she's a favorite of some of the devs, and Patrick Weekes made mention about her character growth and that he loves her now (scary for those of us who loved her before, ). She was one of the first characters mentioned as having a redesign, and there's constant talk about how squadmates will be coming in and out and there are no permanent ones as such. I'm fairly sure she's going to be a squaddie, even if it's just for a few missions (but probably more given her LI status).

I would love to see Gillian, but as a squadmate? No thanks, considering her age, I can't see her playing a good role in the Normandy. Her powers are unreal, which can lead to her being involved in a mission, maybe something with Biotics and Jack. I'd love to see that.

I just think we have enough 'super human biotics'. "I have a special implant that makes me an insanely good biotic!" "I was genetically engineered to have superior human biotics!" "I was experimented on to be the best human biotic!" ... We've got enough of them already. Honestly, I feel kind of bad for Jacob. He's just an average human exposed to eezo, he was way out of his league.

I find her age to be irrelevant.  It's a time of war where anything goes.  Besides, some countries let teenagers join the army at the age of 16 or younger, some without parent consent.  

I think she would fit fine on the Normandy with all those other wierdo emotional wrecks.  I can even see her being an LI for Shepard, and no, that would not make him a pedophile.

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. Even if she was 18, shepard is like 32 or something. If you think that is okay, then you are deffinately wrong.
