Me: Hey Shale.  Nice to see you.  Sten is giving his opinions on various community issues, would you care to speak your mind as well?

Shale: Why does IT think that I should care what soft squishy things think or feel?

Me: A lot of the the community seems to think that their needs to be better done sex scenes in the game. What do you think about that?

Shale: As long as there are no birds involved I couldn't care less about what the bees are doing.

Me:  Many of the female gamers in the forums seem to absolutely love Alister, why do you think that is?

Shale: Hmmm.  What is this love? Is it the soft squishing sound of chickens beneath your feet? Or the lovely crunch of darkspawn heads? Alister doesn't seem to mind birds so why would I care that people like him?

Me: People seem up in arms about the DLC and having to pay for additional tidbits of gameplay, like your interaction in the game.  What do you think about that?

Shale: OOOOO People paid to have me be a part of their story.  That is ...well... priceless...as long as they keep the birds away.  Anyway enough about birds.  If someone has enough money to spend it on something to idle time away (which can be better spent squishing offensive things like darkspawn) Then they shouldn't have any trouble anteing up a little bit more for dear old me.  If they can't afford me, maybe Bioware will except loot from the deep roads to pay for me. 

Me: Why is it you are so fascinated/horrified by birds?

Shale: YOU spend several decades standing like a statue somewhere and see how you feel about birds.  I could ask you the same question given the fascination with the birds and the bees being done more outlandishly around here.
