ELE08, agree with Trivia here, you should post that pic because it's so sweet.

And jupp again, I so so wish that we could have gotten Jacob in armor. So sad that he was left out of all the dlc-stuff. Is he the only LI that didn't get another outfit. Garrus had a nice new outift that I really like, Tali was cute. Miranda was great in my opinion. Jack was cool and Thane was pretty good. Think it was mentioned somewhere that all the LI:s would be treated equally. *sigh*

Jacob is cool in my book.  I always use him on the mission to recruit Samara and I've used him at the beginning and end of the Sucide Mission (Infiltration and Human Reaper).

"GET OVER HERE!" has to be a Scorpion reference.  Put Jacob in his loyalty outfit for maximum MK flavor.  I don't know about the gravity one though.

It goes without saying that taking swipes like that, which is what a lot of Jacob bashers like to do, fans of the character will call you out on being a hater. It'd be the same thing if you were go in any other character thread, list your reasons for disliking them, and then wishing they don't get a role in the next game.

I woudln't worry about ninjamancing.  I mean there must be something about his abs that make femshep sound like a sexual harassment panda, but our Jake here?  he's pretty much impossible to ninjamance.  unless you pick all the flirting options in his conversations (and they are pretty hard to miss, they are all super obvious), he friendzones you.  so give it a go and enjoy the brofist

I love how Epantiras draw Jacob   =)     I really recommend her comic on Deviant Art. It's called Mess Percfect and it is wonderful.

That's why I always considred Jacob's romance to be the best romance in ME2 in terms of believability (ignoring FemShep's great voice acting obviously), you actually have to work to romance him and unlike the rest he can dump you...

Remember, he wasn't a project that needed fixing like everyone else, who eventually falls for their life mechanic Shepard. They would have just had a regular relationship and the only way it would have moved forward is through flirting. You don't see many male characters outside of Zev being the initiators in BW's games, so it was up to Fem Shep.

I disagree completely. There is a difference between intiating a relationship and sexual harrassment. Shepard is in command of the mission. Jacob is her subordinate and unless the law changes in the next 170 plus years, Shepard demanding a relationship is morally and legally wrong. She literally tells him that it doesn't matter if he's interested in her or not

@ Lazuli awww, hope you got the romance right some times also. I'm on the opposit end, somehow I often get a little too friendly with him when I'm playing a Kaidan-faithful or Liara-faithful =)

I see what you mean about Jacob not being forward at first, it is up to FemShep to take the first step. I wouldn't go as far as FemShep demanding a relationship. She doesn't order Taylor to come up before the SM, and he can indeed dump her. She is very forward but he has his say. Hmmm, she perhaps is forcefull when getting the romance going but they feel very equal in it. To me at least. He talks to her and doesn't let her pepper him with questions. When saying that he might need to vent after the LM he turns table and asks the same thing of FemShep.

Jacob: How about we turn it around? What are you carrying? What do you need to get rid of?

Maybe it's a comping mechanism on my part, because I think Jacob's romance is the best in ME2 but I somehow feel that FemShep says these things with a very big dose of humor. And somehow, once the relationship get's going I feel that they are equal. She talks to him in a different way than the rest, but I take it as her tesing and having fun. Or that's just how I imagine my FemShep's doing it at least.
