It's great =) looks like they are watching a game or something.

And here comes one of piece of art that I really like. It's so great to see both Jacob and Garrus kicking ass together   =)

Just found out today that one guy wrote several of my fav characters. Jacob, Joker, Kaidan, Carver and Aveline. Well, I guess that all of the writers work together to some extent but Luke Kristjanson worked on them. Think he worked with Minsc and Boo also... *sigh*   Boo.

Love that art! Is Garrus taller than Jacob? I hadn't noticed. It's a good thing that you can multiple saves, because I love Kaidan too. I have a chart inside of a notebook in my desk to remind me of which of my Sheps is with whom at the end of each game so that imports will be easier. Lotta Jacobs and Kaidans. Even some Garrus in there.

@ RPGmom28    I have a document with my FemSheps, their LI:s in the different games and other useful info such as who was loyal and who died during the SM. So I can make new choices on the next FemShep. ...

* Looking over the papers*  Say Mordin, you usually survive the SM, want to hold the line?

I'm horrible that way   =)    something new should happen on each FemShep

@ SilentK - lol, I have a google spreadsheet with all the shepards, their LI's and major decisions like who kept the base, who lived, who died, rachni, wrex, council, etc. it just makes it easier to keep track of them and make sure I have all the variations covered... or at least most of the ones that actually interest me O_O

I find it funny that more than a few of us are Mass Effect chart makers. I also have a Dragon Age 1 and 2 chart. Sometimes I wonder how many of these decisions, LI etc, are filed away in some computer somewhere so that EA can see what their consumer base wants! In fact I kind of hope it's the case so that they can see how many times I've made Jacob my LI- not everyone hates him!

I'm working on a Jacobmance right now. To be honest, he's a really nice guy.

My only problem is that having a conversation with him that sounds like "hey, we're two friends talking" and not "I WANT TO HAVE YOUR BABIES, TAKE ME NOW" with a Female Shepard (and sometimes a male one) is... really, really hard.

You could always take him to meet Shepards mom

Jacob Meets Shepard Mom

Hannah Shepard:"I've looked up your service record Mr. Taylor, seems like you were a
bit of a trouble maker. I'm not sure you are the right man for my
daughter."

Jacob:"As fellow soldier that has experience both
with Eden Prime and getting whitewashed after saving the Council, I
think I'm one of the few people that gets Shepard."

Hannah Shepard:"Are you sassing me, Mr. Taylor. I don't tolerate that on my ship."

Jane
Shepard:"Mom, we aren't in the Alliance Military. Could you stop
treating use like a couple of junior officers? Maybe getting you to
accept that promotion to Admiral wasn't such a good idea."

Hannah Shepard:"Jane, you should go."

Jane Shepard *leaves*

Jacob:"So THAT's where she gets that from."

Hannah Shepard:"I'm not done with you yet young man."

Jane Shepard:*gives Jacob the signal from across the room*

Jacob:"Well, I brought this bottle of Serrice Ice Brandy, Jane said it was your favorite."

Hannah Shepard:"Ah, the good stuff..."

First time posting in these here forums, and I figured the first thing I'd do is show some support for ME2's most underrated squadmate.

I definitely feel that both in-game and in real life, Jacob is way overlooked. In the ME universe, he's pretty much Shepard without the Spectre status and Prothean visions, he's a seasoned Alliance soldier, he worked with special operations like the Corsairs, survived the geth attack on Eden Prime, and even single-handedly saved the Council from a major terrorist attack, and this guy gets stuck working security on a space station run by human supremacists? What a rip-off. No wonder he somehow lost the ability to use tech powers and assault rifles inbetween ME:G and ME2 (besides the devs wanting to make Miranda the versatile Sentinel-esque squadmate instead of Jacob for some reason), being stuck in a boring job like that does not help keep your skills sharp. One more year doing that job, and all Jacob would be using his biotics for is levitating pizza rolls into his mouth (insert "the good stuff" joke here.)

I really hope ME3 gives us a big mission to team up with Jacob again, probably to blow the hell out of a Cerberus base. Ideally, Jacob would be the one helping Shepard in the majority of missions to infiltrate Cerberus locations. And by helping us, I don't mean sitting back on the radio feeding us instructions, I mean standing side-by-side with an assault rifle, omni-tool and biotics in hand.

Yea, and rip-off seems too small a word to describe how hes been treated despite all the stuff he has done and been through. I also hope we get some awesome missions where we team up with him to take down some Cerberus scum, and I hope he finally gets credit where its due.

Picture just because.

@ jeweledleah and RPGmom28

lol, aren't we big dirty metagamers all of us. Yay for that =) which reminds me that I have to get my killing-the-rachni and Udina-on-the-council FemShep going. Haven't tried those two scenatios yet. Or a unfaithful FemShep..... So many FemSheps and so little time

@ TriviaAeducan I go with the flow for most things, but it's nice to try to make sure to see different things in ME3 =)

@ Dhiro Which convo did strike you as being a little to much on FemShep's part. The two first ones you have with him are ok as far as I remember. No gaming-computer at work so can't look right now. Hmmm.... for me I think it was when you took the paragon-flirt after he pretty much said that you were the human ideal. FemShep says something like "You're not getting rid of me that easy" or something to that effect. I've decided to take it as FemShep having fun and teasing him. You're right. He is a great guy =)

@ Darc great dialouge =) smooth of him getting the brandy. He knows what he's doing. Like the FemShep&Jacob-teamwork

@ SykoShadow welcome to the forum and to the Jacob-thread =) glad to see you here. Feel free to come over again, it's a nice little corner of the forum

Ohhh.... I'm going to comission a pic on DA of my FemShep and Jacob   =)    yay. Well, you know what they say. If you want something done comission it yourself. My reward for soon being done with a really big project at work. I'll post it here when it's done. And yes... I know that that is very very dorky    Posted Image

& @ SykoShadow

I agree it's lame Jacob gets so little credit, esp from fans.

A good point, even the game doesn't give him enough credit for what he's accomplished. Security detail seems like small fish for him, although Lazarus is a pretty important project. Part of that I think might be that he doesn't want the limelight? He seems like the type that is sick of galactic politics doesn't want the attention. He just wants to cut through the BS and get the job done, part of why he was willing to work with Cerberus in the 1st place. I hope in ME3 he gets a more important role where he can sort of step into his own again. Also in armor. What the hell Cerberus? :P

Great pic Amy. Hope you don't mind, I stealz it to make a support banner and avatar. Jacob sneer FTW.

He's the most mentally solid crew member you have, is consistently useful in combat, and is ready to die like a hero. He deserves to be at Shepard's side at the end.

I tried making an excel spreadsheet of all the different decisions all my different Shepards have made, but I couldn't remember all of them so I gave up. :P

I thought I could just read through the completed quest log but it's annoyingly vague a lot of the time... "You have dealt with Helena Blake" does not tell you if you convinced her to break up her syndicate, let her keep her syndicate, or just straight up killed her.

It would be easier if they had some kind of Service History menu that keeps track of all the decisions you made.

I don't if I would call commiting sucide dying like I hero, but I did like his initative.
