Sorry, I've never spent any time around or dated a bodybuilder, so I wouldn't know. I can say that I really like Jacob's broad shoulders, and he has very kissable looking lips.

Slightly off topic, but there is a "but the prize" line in Dragon Age: Mark of the Assassin. I'm not kidding.

Well let's just hope they got it out of their system and it won't need to resurface in ME3.

I lol:ed a little at the screen cap from the dlc =) But after that it's good for me. Now we want new and cool things with Jacob. Perhaps a nice screenshot from ME3? *fingers crossed*

And pretty please armor for Jacob!

My biggest fear is that he will get a slight cameo in ME3 where he won't be anything like himself, blow you off, and leave you standing there with your heart in your shoes... ya know, like the Virmire survivor in ME2. Jacob wouldn't do that to us! Of course, I didn't think Kaidan would do it either, since it totally wasn't in character for him in my opinion.

That's mine as well, but for the VS that was to keep them alive no matter what for ME3. There's no games they need to save people for so I doubt the ME2 LI's will get a cameo like that.

Yeah, I hope so too. I was surpised when I saw it. Hopefully we get some solid Jacob content with more of the cool MEG style Jacob one liners. No more "heavy risk, but the prize."

Well, I think it will be very hard to resist some sort of reference to the prize... or the risk...

I'd look forward to it, tbh. Though I would hope for a less incongruous situation than in ME2. At the right moment, I think it could be pretty awesome.

Blame the writers for screwing his romance dialogue.

Thanks for the support Darkfoxz87      :wizard:

Hmmm.... well Thane was mentioned recently which is nice for his supporters and I'm happy for them. But he was only mentioned for a specific mission I believe and nothing like being a permanent squaddie. I could very well see this happening to Jacob as well. Aww... it will make me a little sad when I'm used to having Jacob around and getting a little extra scene after a new crew-member joins and such. Oh well.... at this point I just want have him mentioned at all.

One of my fav fanart of Jacob. Him and Garrus kicking ass   =)

@SilentK, sounds like it will be like Liara in LOTSB- if you romanced her you get a little romance in your scene, but if not you just get the mission and the "how're you doing, keep your chin up" talk- fist bumping stuff. With the writers trying to accommodate every possible romance for Shepard in some kind of love scene, I can see why this would be the case for Jacob. Don't have to like it, though.

I always did like Jacob as a character. A lot of people seemed to have disdain because he wasn't abnormal like the other cast or showed a little emotion, but I loved his "take no bull****, get the job done, say what needs to be said and move on" attitude. In a lot of ways he reminds me of Wrex. I hope Jacob shows up in some capacity in ME3 doing something cool. And the line "but the prize" is hilarious.

Yeah, he deserves more love IMO. Just wish he was a better character on the battlefield. Giving him an assault rifle, Lift, and a skill akin to Immunity from ME1 would've been nice for him.

I like the way you think V_Zalem. I holding out hope for Jacob. I find it hard to believe that no one from the ME2 cast will be in the permanent squad.

I appreciate that. I like to think that I'm an open minded individual that's blunt/to the point. Back to Jacob for a moment. Suppose you decided not to give the Illusive Man the Collector Base (and thanks to Cerberus now being your enemy there's really no reason to do this IMO) and the Arrival incident is passed what happens to him, Miranda or any other Cerberus personnel? Some said they would get dropped off before Shepard went to trial, but where? Some said that they could've been arrested by the Alliance which kinda makes sense but at the same time doesn't (they did prevent humanity from a potential grim fate by the Collectors/Reapers).

I think it would be really interesting to have someone like Jacob testify for you at your trial y'know? All throughout ME2 Shepard got ****ted on and I feel it's time someone besides Captain Anderson and Admiral Hackett have his back. Jacob fits this role perfectly (especially if Shepard is a woman in this scenario...he wouldn't let his prize go to waste...it's too much of a heavy risk).

In other news, Jacob's love boat is to set sail on Illium in about three months. Any female who has the aptitude to become part of the crew may apply for full time positions as "consorts" and "comforters". Jacob would be more than happy to give you the good stuff - an interview.

How would you guys feel if a disloyal, unromanced Jacob save from ME2 means Jacob remains with Cerberus, becomes indoctrinated, and appears as an enemy in ME3? Should there be consequences for neglecting a squadmate?

No, I don't think I would feel very good about that because I think that while some people are easily swayed (Atton), Jacob is a strong person with a solid core morality and I'd like to believe that he can stand as a good person even without a paragon Shepard to guide him.

Interesting question lazuli, hmm, I'm having a difficult time picturing Jacob staying with Cerberus. He has always been very open with the fact that he doesn't really trust them. He's only there because they at the moment are the only ones working against the reapers. Once the alliance and the rest get's moving I think that he would prefer to go back rather than to stay with Cerberus.
