That wasn't my point. I was talking about popularity. And can't everyone die horribly?
Also, how the heck are you surprised about Zaeed? I don't even think that counts as betrayal unless he's on a mission hired by you right then.

That wasn't my point. I was talking about popularity. And can't everyone die horribly?

my post wasn't about popularity it was about the execution of their characters in ME3, all the humans are acting liek they've JUST gotten to the galaxy and forget that they're the first species to kill a Reaper in the innumerable time their harvesting cycle has been happening. (second if the species that fired the weapon that made the canyon on Klendagon killed the derelict reaper we find but it looked like it was just really injured.)

Ash is quite catty. Miranda can die, but not necessarily. Jacob's character derailment is unavoidable and inexcusable. I feel sorry for you guys.

Went through the leaked docs myself now. The dialogue in there is... someone got paid for that? The hillarious thing is that I can point to several things in the leaked dialogue that directly contradict something Jacob said in ME2...

I'm still in denial. I think I will be util may 7th confirms or contradicts what I've seen. I'm damn sure hoping it's the latter.

I really don't think this script is worth worrying about. In parts, there are contradictions with what else we know about ME3 from other sources(i.e. it doesn't even mention Thane's mission to the Hanar homeworld, which has already been talked about by the devs), and in other cases, it contradicts itself(not going to get into that, but I've seen it). Overall it's a very unfinished script, not something you can take to the bank. Changes are bound to have been made with a script that rough.

If any of you guys read didymos1120's datamining threads from ME2, you'll recall he found some old mission texts a few months back. They included some stuff on Zaeed's original recruitment mission. It was something about Shepard having to use the MAKO to blast through to a crime boss's base and steal one million credits for Zaeed's fee. Also some stuff on Tali's loyalty mission where it was her father on trial, not her.

That's the kind of stuff I'm seeing in these spoilers. I'd be lying if I said was wasn't concerned, since I like Jacob as a character. But when it comes down to it, I trust Bioware to deliver a good story and a great game. For all Shepards, not just Shepards that didn't romance X, or who made decision Y.

They will not just kick Jacobmancers to the curb. That or they will, and we'll have to hit'em with the good stuff.
