That sounds good. Hopefully the stuff that happened in the leaks regarding Jacob does not happen, but to hear that he has a whole mission in which he plays a part is pretty awesome.

nah I'm part of it too SK. I'm still pissed at the alliance for all the disavowing of shepard and the abandonment. I only have my canon blow up the base becausee she wanted control of cerberus and TIM was all "NO IT'S MINE!"

I'm starting to feel bad for renegades because it seems like they aren't going to get much love in ME3.

Jacob and Miranda teeming up would have been nice, but them having their own separate missions is nice too. kinda showcases each one.

I never said it was an "us or them" situation, I'm just saying that from my observation so far it seems that Paragons aren't getting punished for being the crazy idealists that they are, and Renegades aren't being rewarded for being more pragmatic, that is all. I think that people who play mostly paragon (like me) should have to work a little harder because we take the "high road". But this discussion is moot since the game isn't even out yet, but whatever, what else can we do right now but speculate?

The problem with them having seperate missions (for me anyways) is that we don't get to see the two of them interact much, and since they both used to work for Cerberus I just thought it would make sense if they collaborated together to take them down (given their combined knowledge of how Cerberus ops work).

I am writing a fan fic that covers all the Mass Effect events to date (as well as Shepard's history).  For the ME2 story, each squadmate gets their own chapter, following their journey through the ME2 story (up to the Omega4 Relay).  The newest entry is Jacob's chapter.  I think I did him justice - more than the game did - and I hope you enjoy it: If It Meant Living-33: Jacob / Alt. Jacob getting to be showcased is probably the best thing that could happen to that character. so we can see more of then his 'good soldier who wants to see the mission get done' persona. Im not bothered if his treatment is controversial (but I understand that players who romanced/bromanced him wouldnt appreciate) as long as he get some time to shine. Too bad for those who send him in the vent!
He's still quite an enigma (rather then bland like we hear it) so there's lots that can be done with him. I cant wait to see where his loyalties go in ME3 ( I havent read the leaks so I can be at least a bit surprised even if if I heard things here and there).

All Renegades need is to complete the mission, thus it's what they get.
