yep, that's my girl, Jade Shepard.  of whom I need to take more screenshots, especialy with Jacob O_O

P.S.  I'm very partial to the dialogue in Jacob's romance and I like his friendship path as well. Shepard's voice acting takes a bit of... effort to get past, but its totaly worth it.

It really makes me wonder what they were thinking. Especially since dialog with Shepard talking like a normal person is apparently in the game

First time posting in the Jacob thread, but wanted to say I am a new full on Jacob supporter!

I have two playthroughs I always considered my most important playthroughs and main playthroughs (out of SO many), one from ME1 where she is single and stays single in ME2, and one from ME1 where she romanced Kaidan and stayed faithful to him. I considered the Kaidan romance one her canon romance.

I have to admit that I never really was into the idea of romancing Jacob, not because of his character, but because of the kind of character my femShep is. She, to me, isn't very good at getting close to people. She bottles up her emotions and puts on a cold front, making sure that no one can read her. I always had Jacob around in my party, and always considered him a good friend to my Shep, but never thought about romancing him.

After having gone through ME1 and ME2 each about 10 times, I decided I needed to change it up a bit, and that my canon shep was going to romance someone else in ME2. I had always stayed true to Kaidan out of a sense of loyalty, but then I realized, my Shep honestly wouldn't react that way. She would be hurt and angry and upset, and she would also probably take his reaction as "its over" and be done with it, she doesn't dance around that kind of stuff. Out of all the other possible LIs on the SR2, Jacob is the only one who doesnt complain and bother her with BS. Hes the only one she can turn to for a light hearted conversation and he actually makes some real effort to understand her. So on my most recent playthrough, after Horizon, my Shep started her romance with Jacob, and I honestly wasn't disappointed. It fit very well with the person I see my Shep as.

There were some corny and cheesy lines that I laughed at, but I think it made me enjoy the romance more, because it was much more light hearted and playful, something my Shep really needed.

I still enjoy Kaidan, but now I also have a new found love for Jacob. I have no idea what I will do when ME3 comes around, but its going to be a tough choice for me, lol. I really hope there is some nice stuff in store for a Shep/Jacob romance continuation in ME3.

While Shepard is being trialed he returns to Alliance and signs up for N7 special training. In the middle of ME3 he returns as squadmate.

On another thread someone suggested Jacob as a choice to take over and run Cerberus...what do you think?

Jacob Running Cerberus? I don't see him as an administrative sort of leader to be honest - battlefield, yeah, even head of security detachment - sure, but he has too low of a tolerance for bull***t, that would be necessary to deal with organization like Cerberus. heck, alliance regulations chaffed, this would be just.. blech. I don't think squad leader was shoehorned though - he had lead men in military situations before and apparently with great success (corsairs)

Kanye comparisons? facial structure is all wrong, but I guess the hair, beard and eyebrow similarities are enough for some :/

I never got the Kanye thing ether. I always felt Jacob looked similar to David Otunga. Plus Jacob running Cerberus make no sense at all.

Yeah, it seems more like a Miranda thing, plus she has the plot armor to be alive in just about everybody's ME2 import
