Nice art!
Out of curiosity, for you Renegade players, does Jacob act differently with your Shepard? More vocal as to the manner you do things? I know if you shove the Eclipse merc out of the window on Illium during Thane's recruitment, he says something like "that your idea of a fair trial?" or something to that effect. What about on the ship, any difference in his dialogue?

Damn, I have gone 40+ hours without sleep before it's not fun. Hell of a job man.anmaiarna wrote...

my renegade shepard was what made me really apreciate Jacob as a character.

He really puts Renegade Shep in her place at times and stands his ground without flinching.

Nothing that bad, just Tali and Samus fighting Geth. Nothing strange at all.Darc_Requiem wrote...

No thanks, I wouldn't mind seeing more art from Anmaiarna though.

I rarely post, as I try not to be redundant when others say similar points and at times much more eloquently but I wanted to be counted among the supporters of this character. I am a fan in varying degrees (and rp styles) of all the characters and LIs, but I'm definitely a strong Jacob fan. I enjoyed most interactions with Jacob's character and his development (though I wished there was a little more rounding to his personal development). I am looking forward to so many things in ME3, but I have to admit, I am really curious to see how this character develops and interacts with others as well as my Shep, as well as how it all may tie into themes and plots of the game.
I assume that at this point the game is pretty much completed. And I'm clear the developers have heard the very loud naysayers about this character too; but I'm seriously hoping they also considered those that feel the opposite and enjoy the character as squaddie and/or LI and maybe don't make a lot of noise because they are fine with it. It would appear like a cop-out to me if they wrote this character out of story or limited player's options to have him continue as part of their experience entirely based on loudly dissenting opinions; but to give perspective, I feel the same would be true if this were done to any of the characters that have ever been in Shep's squad and survived. I also suspect that with a game this large and with so many stories to tell, conclusions to reach and innovations to execute, hard choices may have had to be made as perhaps it is a technological challenge to support every possible LI combo/outcome/animation as well as all the story and lines that must go along with it.
Still, I am very hopeful that the resolution might run somewhere along the lines of a choice your Shep can make to have Jacob (or any of the past squad members) as major (active) parts of your gameplay experience or choose to make him (them) minor (passive or active only "off screen") part of your experience. To me, that seems as though it would be the most logical, equitable solution: those who can't stand him don't need to and those that really appreciate him get to continue.
I love to play the ME games as a whole for a myriad of reasons including the evolving combat, powers, AI response, exploration, storylines, RPG elements, morality and character choices, romances (or not romancing) - all of this and more make ME3 for me so engaging. I just think having Jacob around might make it a little bit more so!
I guess we'll see the truth of it in March 2012. Im looking forward to it!

Now I'm not worried at all, just learning patience and waiting until we get to play.

@CaseyDHudson: @TeeShepz Like most key characters in the ME universe, Miranda and Jacob will be in #ME3, but details beyond that would be story spoilers.

Usually turn him in to the Alliance, most of my Shepards are Lawful Good, I don't think the way that you deal with his dad will affect JT much, as justice is served either way.
I just leave him at the mercy of the mess he made. But like you I don't see it effecting Jacob at all. He had a funeral for that man long ago the body was just late. Some Dude wrote...
