I bought this and downloaded it. It will not install. It will not open. I deleted and re-downloaded about six times now. It occasionally pops up asking if I will allow the program, which I do, but then it does nothing except make my system run incredibly slowly but with no applications running.

I contacted the EA tech support (chat) and the customer rep said he was adding the content manually to my game account. I think he misunderstood what I needed.

I searched the forums thoroughly, found many people had similar issues but no fixes. I also checked the tech faq, so please don't direct me there. I would really appreciate if anyone knows how to fix this.

This is the info we really need to know where to start.

You may also try using a winrar(type/class) extracter to unpack the files and see if you can manually install them in the dlc folder of your game under my programs me2 and then look for your dlc bionaries maybe.......sorry I am not at the computer that actually has me2 on it right now.

1) Please register the game on the forums. This is not an accusation, but given the spate of users with illegally downloaded copies coming to the forums asking for help, forum registration is the only way we can be sure we are dealing with a legit copy. Illegally downloaded copies include hacked and modified files which could be either corrupt, or full of malware. Once its registered, we will be happy to help. Forums Registration here;

2) Please post a full problem report as per this thread: http://social.biowar...6/index/4795299

How much space do you have on your install harddrive that is free, and how big is your total harddrive?

I have heard of another person having similar issue because they didn't have enough room to both install and unpack on the operating drive.

The Geforce 8600 is way too old to be able to use that new of a driver and still play this game properly. Newer drivers just give the combination of the old graphics card and the UT3 game engine bad indigestion. I have mostly given up trying to use Geforces the past few months because of the drivers.

No real reason too, if you have 136 GB free on your install/os drive.  The reports were from people who let their drives get within a GB or less.  LotSB shouldn't need more than a couple GB to load at most, but it was something that had to be checked.

How long are you leaving it betwen activating the installer, getting the integrity check, and then waiting for it to install? LotSB is quite a large file, and acn take a minute or two to activate once the intergrity check has been done.
It cuold also be a corrupted download. Known causes of corruption in DLC downloads include, but are not limited to;
Wireless, either networking or internet. This is due to the opacket loss which occurs over wireless links being well above many programs tolerances.
Download accelerators. Again, packet loss is the culprit here, as the donwload accelerators jump connections trying to find a faster link between you and the source.
Browser add-ins. Chrome or Opera without add-ins have proven to be the most reliable browsers to download with.
Antivirus & Firewall programs

Note, before you attempt to download them again, its normally advisable to clear your browser cache.

Thank you so much, downloading in Google Chrome did the trick!
