Aria would leave Omega after the Batarians blow it up. Why would the Baratarians blow up Omega you ask? The fact that they're baratrians is reason enough...

Alright, jokes aside I think Aria would be an interesting squad member. I don't know how you would get her off Omega but I want her as a squad mate/romance.

After reading Redemption, sure!

Aria is one of the few asari I like, although her role on Omega limits her some what. I still think she would make a badass temp squaddie.

It would be awesome to have Carrie-Anne Moss at your side, but I don't think it will happen.

Aria as a squadmate would be one of the most badass things ever.

I can't see this one. I'd have an easier time believing a keeper could be an effective squadmate. Aria is not a people person, she hates taking orders, and hates not being in control. She wouldn't do well undershep command much less anyone else's even if she believed in the cause she wouldn't be below anyone in any manner.

^This, sorry as intruging as this could be I don't think it will happen.  Not unless Shep has a burning desire to be the new Patriarch...

I agree that Aria would be out of place as a squadmate.

However, given the nature of ME3's storyline, I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up becoming a very powerful ally/partner to Shepard, managing her own force on her own agenda. I really like Aria as well, so I'd love for her to play a part in this story.

That Aria might struggle with obeying orders would be the perfect opportunity for some dramatic tension and character development. Opposing an enemy universal to all organics might melt away some of that ego.

I couldn't stand what Cerberus did to Aria. I'd really like to have her as an ally, squadmate would be cool, but ally wound be just as cool to me. And now for some speculation: Given what Cerberus did to Aria's daughter, could she not be an ally in the fight against Cerberus given that Cerberus is supposed to be such a huge foe in ME3?

Uh, morinith anyone?

The thing about Asari, is that they'll outlive us, giving a year or two to fighting with Shepard is nothing compared to what those 2 years would be for say...a Salarian (with an approx 40 year lifespan).

Written well it could very much work. She's a businesswoman first and foremost. Save her life and she'll pay back in kind. Simple as that. Bad for business otherwise.

Not that I'm saying she should be there. Only that it very much could be done.

So abouth Asari, they say their children do take on some aspects of their dad's. What would Aria's dad have been you think? I think it's a salarian

Uhm, no.

She worked with him on a single operation and he duped her into that. She got the research data as payment. Relationship ends.

Not an employee, but a subcontractor.

I'd love to have her as a squaddie even though I doubt it happens. It would be pretty cool to take her to my meeting with Wrex though.

It could be interesting; Aria is pretty BAMF.
However, I would not like to see her getting booted out of power or leaving for no reason.

I'd say fighting a battle that will decide the fate of all organics is a cause worthy of 2 years of near anybody's life. This is especially true for the well informed and purportedly skilled Aria. What better place to bring the fight to the Reapers than by Shepard's side? The only business left would be the business of living to see tomorrow.

This is one of the reasons why I so want it to happen or at least maybe we have a 'council of Shepard' type meeting with all our allies and they both see each other across the room and finally the penny drops to Shepard why the 'better luck next time' line sounded familiar :wizard::lol:

Oh fudge, and I just realized this...

The voice recognition will have a bad time distinguishing between Aria and Liara. I won't let this bother me... but felt I should share.

I know I will be disappointed if Aria doesn't play a fairly decent sized role in ME3, given the power she holds, she would be an ally with force...she has a small but substantial army at her disposal...Plus the building dialog that developed between Shep and her, it would feel very cut off and un-natural if she suddenly doesn't exist in some substantial capacity in ME3....As an LI?, I have thought about this on and off, looking at who Aria and Shep are, I would see it more so as a political move between them, not so much a romance...That's my take anyway.
