Not that the official ones aren't great. They are.

It's just that every time I watch this one, I feel so pumped up about ME3. The music, the pacing, it's just so classy and exciting at the same time. I hope BioWare will put out something like this as well.

Yeah, that was pretty awesome too 

I realize EA can't use too much spoilery material in their marketing, but if fans can make this by splicing up a few clips, it should raise the bar for the actual marketing as well.

According to BW's data, about 80% of players choose to play as the default Shepard, so taking into account custom male Shepards, the amount of femshep players is probably somewhere around 10%. The voices heard on these forums represent a tiny minority of all ME players (about 1% according to Brenon Holmes), so there's really no reason to use femshep in marketing, even if some of her fans are really vocal.

Besides, they've used the default male Shepard in all marketing for ME1, ME2 and ME3 so far, so it would be too late to change it anyway.

Official FemShep trailer is actually in the works, so nope game 3 isn't too late to change the trend of default male one being 'the face' of the triology.

i can really appreciate the first one because 99.9% of the time its the original trailer with different music, most likely the requiem for a dream song.

the first one is the best fan made ME3 trailer ive seen, by a long margin.
