Yeah death would've been unbearable. At least with dialogue you can "interpret" close to what you initially wanted...arr0whead wrote...
I miss Kasumi. She was one of my favorite squadmates. Her appearance in ME3 was too short but I won't complain anymore because it could have been worse. They could have horribly killed her or worse, death by twitter.

Me, I could see her on both, but especially Femshep.. I could see a rivalry/relationship between them.

I'll admit the top one is aesthetically pleasing. But I'd just as sooner photoshop my Shepard's head on the holo-body and headcanon it as being the Reaper Control Shep projecting a hologram to commune with Kasumi.

Thanks for posting them iSpaz. I personally dislike them quite a bit. Even if you destroy the greybox she still hasn't moved on. It's infuriating.

Aaaahahaha Reaper Shepard on the move.
Keiji Hologramm: KAsumi I..
The Shepard: DIRECT INTERVENTION IS NECESSARY! I WILL DIRECT THIS PERSONALLY! ASSUMING CONTROLL!
Come to think of it.. If you pick controll, it doesn't matter who hooks up with Kasumi

Ditto. Kasumi is one of my top favs in all of Mass Effect and I wanted deleting the Greybox (Which, for once, I accidentally chose the wrong option during her Loyalty Quest and its far too late to change that) to help her move on, similar to Cortez and his husband, but she juts doesn't. Its been what? A year or two since he died? I just want to help her move on...

No I guess it doesn't... as long as it's not Jacob (safe bet there)... or anyone else currently in the series...Mechler wrote...

you take control of those who are still butthurt over Javik being DLC or the ones who think Synthesis is the worst ending. And use those puppets to romance Kasumi. Kill two pyjacks with one warp
By the way. If there would be a new canon Kasumi story either game or novel or comic or whatever That talks about the events when she is not on screen(pre-ME, ME1, Between 1-2, Between 2-3, ME3, Post-ME3). Who would you want to appear?(Not shepard)

Tali cause for some reason I see them as BFF's during the events on ME2, out of all the chars in ME2 barring Shepard and maybe Garrus, she would of been the only char Tali would of felt comfortable talking with, a friendly female face. Both tech experts, both share similar qualities. And Kasumi would of found her as both a Quarian and a person intriguing .
Miranda cause, she would have great use of Kasumi, mainly after ME2 for intel and helping her lie low from Cerberus, while Kasumi would enjoy the risk and drama. While being able to poke fun at Miranda and get on her nerves.

Yeah post ending Tali-Kasumi and ME3 Kasumi-Miranda are both likely. Hell maybe Kasumi is sending Miranda intel from the Spectre office. All the time you walk in she just stares at your ass.
I already convinced myself why she acted the way she did. She already developed feelings for Shep but felt somehow that he will noz make it. That Shep will sacrefice himself in the end to stop the Reapers. She did not want to become too attached to Shepard so she sent her away the rudest way she could.

For the amount of times Kasumi says "I was just thinking of you" and other similar lines etc throughout ME2, its a shock that she was never a LI interet, she clearly was written in a way that shows she grew attached to Shepard on more then one level. But without Shepards trusty wheel of fortune, he/she couldn't express a interest back.Mechler wrote...

Lol imagine that, Kasumi giving off all these hints and Shepard stands there silent. Akwaaaaaard.

I don’t think it’s about ‘moving on’ if he returns. The other one is a little iffy. I guess they needed to just add something and couldn’t really think of anything better.

Sorry but Keiji coming back is probably one of the most retarded parts of synthesis. Besides the space magic aspect I'm pretty sure greyboxes don't work that way- i.e. don't store an entire persona. It's just memories and even then, not all the memories. Whatever that hologram is, it isn't Keiji anymore than I am. And the fact that Kasumi's so enamoured with it... rage rising...lillitheris wrote...

Even if synthesis was perfectly logical and truly was the land of happiness and chocolates, that slide alone would make me reject it.
Endings aside ME3 makes it clear the greybox must be destroyed. If it isn't Kasumi's lines about it during the hanar diplomats mission are sickening.
This sucks on ice. When a character like Miranda was threatened with this much character damage there was a whole thread up in arms about it, and as a result some of it got curbed. But no one is left to speak for Kasumi...

Well, yes, I agree with the part about it being idiotic. I’m just saying that if your dead lover did return to life and that’s OK by you, it’s not quite the same as ‘not moving on’ (which is what we see in Control).

@Terrorize69: She’s not the most famous squaddie, she’s the best
The part that really made me like her, I think, was the artwork in the room. Not sure why.
