Sad thing is, They could have made her a LI in ME2.

She was originally going to be in the base game with Zaeed. Kelly Chambers has dialogue that suggests Kasumi and Zaeed had dialogue trees like everyone else.

One hand, I love Kasumi gossiping which wouldn't work well in a normal dialogue tree, but at the same time, She doesn't have that full conversation with the close ups and the in-depth dialogue. We really know so little about her.

Plus, build up to the greybox. Shepard keeps pushing Kasumi to talk about herself and she always seems distracted and distant. Eventually, She tells you about Hock's up coming party and how you'll be her date there to get the Greybox.

Sure it would. Allers is point to click but it you keep clicking she'll ask if anything is wrong (giving you the option to tell her to GTFO). Point is, that's a dialogue tree and it could be implemented the same way. Alternatively have a "what's up?" option that you can choose multiple times for different results.

And the fact that we know so little yet still love her and speculate so much just shows her potential. They did more with less. But of course, we want more!;)

That could become annoying with Kasumi's lengthy ammounts of gossip.

"Hurry up Kasumi. I just want to get to your Dialogue tree already!"

Not really. With Allers she gives you the option the second or third click in. It could've been the same with Kasumi.

Dianna doesn't have any other dialogue to be clicked through though. : /

Click once or twice, random comment, click three times pop up the dialog tree. Unless its something after a mission where she'd have something to say right away. Or forget click to talk entirely and just do the random comment as one of the investigate options.

Really, this isn't hard.

I know. She'd always have one comment for me, then it went to the dialogue tree, and then the same comment again then dialogue tree. I got how it worked, just that she never had anything to say.

...Then again, I did have her on the ship for all of five mins till she tried to get me in bed and I kicked her off the ship...

Seems likes it's been too long since someone posted something on here. So I'll add something on it. Kasumi is a under appreciated character and deserves a better role in mass effect 3 but I'm glad they added a class similar to her in MP but I digress...

Why not? I think they could make an adorable couple. Vega seems like the kind of person she might go for, considering her interest in Jacob. Look, Its Jacob, but with an actual persionality and he's funny to boot.

Wonder what his nickname for her would be....Stealth?

Yeah that sounds like an appropriate Vega nickname. Maybe Sneaky too.

Vega has a goofy sense of humor, so I think his nickname for Kasumi would be something a little goofier.

I'm going to go with...snoops.

Ugh... no.

I chuckled at the "Loco" thing and let it slide. But don't push it.

Game time! Kasumi steals something from each squadmate. What is it?

What Kasumi steals from each person... (and how she trolls them):

Garrus: Steals his Visor... (Replaces it with a pirate eyepatch)
Tali: Steals Chikkita Vas Paus... (Replaces her combat drone with Twilight Sparkle)
Mordin: Steals his collection of Gilbert and Sullivan... (Replaces it with "I Am A Scientist" by Dandy Warhols)
Miranda: Steals all of her outfits... (Replace with actual swimwear)
Jacob: Deletes his workout music... (Replaces it with  "I'm Sexy and I Know It")
Grunt: Removes his tank... (Replaces it with a giant teddy bear).
Jack: Laser removes her tattoos... (Replaces them with tattoos of the Carebears)
Legion: Steals light from his "face"... (Replaces with Christmas lights)
Thane: Steals all of his clothes... (Sends Kelly Chambers wearing nothing but a bow. You're welcome)
Zaeed: Steals all of his armour... (Replaces with an "I Heart Jesse" t-shirt)
Samara: Knows better than to steal anything... (But programs every door to wolf-whistle as she enters).

And the ME3 crew:

EDI: Steals her chair in the cockpit... (Replaces with a Stripper Pole)
James: Steals his workout bar... (Replaces with massage oil.)
Ashley/Kaidan: Steals their Alliance uniforms... (Replaces with "I'm with Commander Stupid" t-shirts)
Javik: Steals the water in his room... (Replaces with Custard).
Liara: Steals Glyph... (Replaces with Tamagotchi)

Vega's nicknames aren't meant to sound cool or badass. They are meant to amuse him.

See Lola and Sparks.

If Vega gave Kasumi a nickname, it would be equally goofy.

The difference there though is, I can actually take them serious if he yells "Sparks, Hack that console!" or "Right on it Lola" or something. They're goofy but I can take them seriously to some extent...

Snoops is just....bleh....

Kasumi returned to her room on the ship. All the crew would be freaking out about their missing belonging in the morning. The young thief couldn't help but giggle at what could happen. Grunt, sadly, would probabaly tear the bear to shreds. Jacob may never actually complain about the change. Tali would go crazy after a few moments, give or take a milisecond. The only one Kasumi was afraid of was Jack tearing out a bulkhead in anger.

She plopped down on her bed. The downtime between missions was always fun. Sighing with pleasure and pride, Kasumi reached for the shelf above her bed for one of her novels. 'I think I could go for some Tolkien' she thought to herself.

Except, Her hand didn't find Tolkien. Or any books for that matter. Surprise flutter across her face and was quickly replaced by fear. Had she moved them somewhere and forgotten? Maybe Miranda borrowed them again? Her hand found a piece of paper on the shelf.

Kasumi quickly read the letter.

Dear Kasumi,

I'd like to congradulate you on stealing something from everyone in the squad except yourself. I thought I'd help fix that issue. Don't fret, I left you a replacement set of books. Enjoy them while I enjoy yours.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to enjoy some hot coco and pizza while soaking up the words of Agatha Christie.

Sincerarly,
                -Commander Joseph Shepard

P.S. Looking forward to our next drinking night

Kasumi smiled. Shepard was getting better. She'd taught him well. Without looking, Kasumi grabbed the set of books Shepard had left on her self. Turning it over, she had only to see the name of the author for pure horror to slide down her spine.

The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Myers

Kasumi screamed and droped the books instantly like they were the plague; like holding them any longer would kill her or worse. All but one person on the Normandy awoke with surprise; but not for the reasons Kasumi had been hoping for. The one person who wasn't woken by her screams or even surprised by them sat in his cabin, laughing that his joke had been sucessful.

Kasumi had taught him too well.

Lance, you keep bringing up Kasumi and Vega and we're gonna have "issues". But so far, you've totally redeemed yourself.
