Well, I picked Destroy so, as soon as My Shepard is out of the hospital, I don't care if his limb clone replacements haven't arrived; Jacob, Garrus, Vega, and Kasumi owe me drinks.

Now I can just picture Kasumi replacing the fancy transparent Catalyst hologram with the Shepard VI, complete with all of it's cheesy catchphrases.

Would be a definite improvement. And it'd make me feel a lot better about the endings in general.

Reaper!Shepard: Kasumi, you touch my mind... please don't.
Kasumi: I don't know what you are talking about!
Reaper!Shepard: You are attempting to hack me, in order to make me dance. I DON'T DANCE!
Kasumi: You're not fun anymore, Shep!
Reaper!Shepard: I wasn't fun to begin with, now stop it!

I've always been kind of curious what she looks like under that hood, since the shadow from it obscures a large part of her face. Really only the bottom half is clearly visible.

Kasumi: Did you like that picture I sent you?
Shepard: You just edited your make-up onto a stock photo from the extranet.
Kasumi: Hey, if I handed out pictures of what I look like to everybody I wouldn't be a good theif now would I?

I kind of like this fan art of Kasumi:

The facial features also look Japanese, even if differs a bit from the in game model.

Kasumi can sing. Howevery you will only hear her sing when pyjacks fly on the third blue moon.
Or maybe if romanced.
If you romance Kasumi and get pretty deep in the relationship, one night she surprises you with this. She's never sung for anybody, not even Keiji and it's one of the few times she's in a dress and not her typical garb.
Ahhh..... faithfulness to Miranda actually tempted!
Kasumi singing in the game would have been golden!
I am the very model of the japanese infiltrator

If you're referring to the Fury, that's not an alternate armor, that's an entirely different character (a biotic by the way). Which I still love for obvious reasons. And have headcanon for why she dresses like Kasumi, though real reason is probably just model recycling.Mechler wrote...

I may have odd fetishes but I'm not stupid. I know the Fury is a Brazilian biotic with no relations to Kasumi, but her armor really is a modified version of The Kasumi nekosuit

She's not necessarily Brazillian. Brazil is just where N7 bootcamp is located.Mechler wrote...

From a real world perspective it's just model recycling. Slap on some new textures, an N7 graphic and a mask and boom- new character. All the Earth characters are recycled.
Destroyer-Terminus Armor
Paladin- Inferno armor
Demolisher- modified generic armor (some say it's like Kaidan's. I wouldn't know).
Shadow- Phantom
Slayer- Kai Leng
As for in-universe, I have my own theory:
The Fury operative comes from a spy/covert ops background. A few years back there was an Alliance initiative to capture the thief Kasumi Goto. Details are classified but the general idea was to draw her out by impersonating her and catch her in a sting op. The Fury was selected to be the impersonator (this was before she developed her awesome biotic talents in the N7 program) based on her previous skill and experience in wetworks and matching body type. The initiative was scrapped when intel was recieved that Shepard had already recruited Kasumi. The Fury however kept the outfit and is rarely if ever, seen without it and her signature mask (due to a whole other backstory I won't get into.)

What the characters models are is obvious.
As for the rest, it's all me. I've got detailed backgrounds on each Earth character. Did you know the Slayer and Fury are siblings?
