Just took her on Samara's recruitment mission. She went up to Niftu the self-proclaimed biotic god and as soon as he got done screaming his rant about power she goes like this.

Crazy Niftu: I am a biotic god! I think things and they happen! Fear me lesser creatures for I am biotics made flesh!

Kasumi: Awww.... can we keep him?

Would be aesome to have her back- I'd like her as an LI, but I'm fine without as well.

Ran an ultimate stealth team of Infiltrator/Thane/Kasumi in ME2, would be awesome to have them back together again.

THAT is EXACTLY what I said. I saw her on NCIS and heard her voice and I'm like OMFG KASUMI! Then I look up and I'm like, dude, slap some violet asari lipstick on her and dayum. She looks just like her! 

Anyway I was totally up for her being a romance option. I love her spirit and I feel like she would just be such a good companion for Shepard. Plus some interesting story on how she gets over Keiji (if she can). I can't wait to see her in ME3.

Just because she is a DLC character doesn't mean she won't be in ME3 as a full character. Remember ME1, you had the option of not recruiting Garrus or Wrex in the first place, but BioWare made it work. DLC is important in the ME universe (the story from ME2 to 3 was told via downloadable content). Besides it's not like BioWare hasn't made DLC characters full squaddie members in a sequel before. Just look at Dragon Age. And that character even was able to die in the DLC game. ME3 may give her two additional meetings (like for Garrus and Wrex in ME2) or it may just assume that she was part of your team in ME2.

She could very well be a bi option. An old face with new features is very appealing to fans who jumped in right at ME2. She's unique and her loyalty mission ties in well with the storyline. She's the only infiltrator class we have in the game, especially if your Shep isn't an infiltrator (look at me, calling Shepard "Shep" =D) and she can get along well dynamically with the confirmies (She likes Garrus, adores Tali, has done business with Liara, Ashley may see her as a threat to the alliance if she saved the Graybox ect.)

She's really popular just as a DLC character, so she'd skyrocket if she felt like a full character with actual dialogue. So I think she has as much a chance as anybody else. She's Kasuming Direct Control of our hearts and I'd adore to see her in ME3 as a LI. I can see a sexy scene where just before Shep kisses her she cloaks playfully and asks if she/he'd always be there. When Shep says yes Kasumi uncloaks and the panties COME OFF!!

Believe it or not, Kasuming Control came into my mind as well(I love Kasumi and puns, so it's only natural). We know that Shepard can pilot Atlas mechs. I once imagined that the would go for party members, with Kasumi making fun of Harbinger by yelling: Kasuming Control when she jumps into the pilot seat.

I already did. Mechler Shepard(named after one of my friends Ákos Mechler). A full playthrough on insanity just for her. Unromanced in both games.

I'm sorry while I support adding kasumi as a LI I have little interest in her as a LI. She just doesn't seem interesting, I'd rather see Doctor Chakwas, Gianna, Shiala, Aria or the female krogan as a LI. Yes I said the female krogan I was rebuilt once before they can put me back together again.

Gianna....is Kasumi's only contender from my Sheps perpsective, I like Gianna a great deal, I can see her being a lot of fun like Kasumi and she and Kasumi are the only female characters who have managed to throw Shep off balance.

Dr Chakwas....old enough to be Sheps mum, no thank you.

Shiala....she has never really appealed, I think because she is a victim and plays that role.

Aria....is very interesting and I have thought about this one before....as I posted in her support thread though, I think any relationship between her and Shep (be that sexual or otherwise) would be more a political move on both their parts, rather than driven by any romantic feelings.

Female Krogan............Hell no.

Aria? Nah, she's Wrex's girlfriend. Oh by the way. Wasn't Liara's father/second mother half krogan? Exactly how good friends were they way back? Imagine the shock if it's true ,and they figure it out.
