It would be nice to have Kasumi back in the squad for ME 3. Get Kym Hoy back in to do the heavy melee "Aaaaarrrrrrgghhr!" for shadow striking fun. I wonder what sort of omni-weapon Kasumi would use?

Kasumi's "omni-bop" must remain.

I can't see Kasumi using an Omni-Blade. She isn't into that kind of combat from what I can tell.

lol, Kasumi was using her omni-tool as a weapon before it was cool.

True, it wasn't exactly a blade... hence the "omni-bop"^_^

Kasumi likes peace and harmony in her thread. Don't start ****. Take it to other threads/PM.

I know what her powers are. She's my absolute favorite squaddie. Would you stop with the Thane comments in every thread I'm in?

Also, I was talking about the blade part. Kasumi seems to use more blunt of powers and she seems rather....innocent in a way. I can't see her using an omni-blade to stab and gut.

She will if she needs to. And I'm convinced she has training in all sorts of bladed weapons.

But I see where you're coming from. She's not one to just cut a b!tch. Any violence she needs to do is typically last resort and done as cleanly as possible. No gore, no viscera.

So she shadow strike donkey punches?

Be realistic, that's a killing blow, and you need a blade for a killing blow.

Also, Thane is cool so nobody yells at me :)

There's no blade. It's literally an omni-bop. Come to think of it, the Demolisher's heavy melee is the same thing. Just a punch with an omni-tool.

I assume the omni-tool delivers a charge, likely an electrical shock. And since Kasumi goes for the back of the head, that charge is very potent. No doubt it's usually non-lethal. But in the case of ME2 she upped the potency because of what was at stake.

She might enjoy throwing knives, however. She does enjoy looking at a set of knives on Tuchanka.

There was a part in ME3 where Liara said she needed more agents, what if Bioware could implement Kasumi as one of Liara's agents and bring her on board The Normandy???? She could work on one of the computers in Liara's Quarters or something like that and when she is not there her quarters could be Jack's old area or life support or something. What do you think????

So, I've been thinking about Kasumi's ending slide.

Do you think it would be possible to mod her side into, i don't know, a picture of her sitting happly in a lair with one of Big Ben's Clock Faces behind her? She's living happly as the world's greatest thief. Sort of what I was expecting for her, to be honest.

I would be on board with that so fast.

Sadly I have no experience in that kind of a modification. Sounds simple enough. People were already unpacking game archives and replacing the Liara flashback with a Miranda one post EC. I'm sure a still image would be even easier to do.

This is very plausible. And yet only one of dozens of ways Kasumi could've had a bigger role, and been on the Normandy.

But no, a short resentful cameo is much easier to do apparently...<_<

Would have been amazing if Kasumi could have applied her cloaking tech to the Normandy. Take the ship up from a "Stealth" ship to a full cloak. In addition to being a full squad member and love interest.

...They already do that. We just never really get to see it. From what we're told, The Normandy can only be seen through Thermal Scans or something.

If I remember correctly.

The Normandy's cloaking works by masking their heat emissions, which is how ships can see each other in space.

Optical camouflage is useless on a ship because visuals in space are next to non-existent.

And it's not Kasumi's tech as it's pretty prevalent among infiltrators.

Normal tactical cloak only lasts for a few seconds, Kasumi can stay invisible for an indefinite amount of time so it might be an upgraded version that's special for her.

As for omni-weapons I picture her using the Engineer's flaming pimp slap of doom.
