Kasumi is always my first recruitment as well. Then Zaeed, Mordin, Garrus, Jack, and Grunt.
Thane, Samara, and Tali then followed by Legion (obviously).
Kasumi and Miranda are my squad until Thane is recruited in the second half of the game.

Oh Kasumi began as an omnipotent super ninja who could have killed the whole normandy crew in seconds but was nerfed down to be second best after Shep.
I wonder how would have Kasumi faired in ME2 if she were given Shepards task(after Shepard staying dead after the Collector attack).
