My friend got Mass Effect 2 recently with some of the DLC, and me and him are pretty big fans of Kasumi too.

I'd swap Jack, Thane and Jacob out easily if it meant letting Kasumi be a full squaddie :'(

Back in Feb 2010 somebody going through ME2 files found her character with lots of audio dialogue, and managed to use a random placement model for Kasumi to get her in-game. After watching and listening to her character for the first time,  I have to say I found her voice a bit annoying, and I didn't really like her. 

Come April 2010, Kasumi's DLC was released and to my surprise I quickly fell in love with her character. She was an amazing squadmate, the only squaddie to come with me on every mission, with the exception of letting Kasumi go through the vents in the CB.
And, over time Kym Hoy's voice has grown on me a lot, and now I'm quite fond of it.

Bioware probably did base her off Kym Hoy, but I have to agree Kasumi does look like a younger, and a bit mischievous version of Kym.

I'm not sure. I have to go check that out now. Grr I just wish we had something to go on for Kasumi. It's been so long.

That being said I hope that Emily Hopkins rumor isn't true. I don't want another female new character we have enough women to pick from. Give us Kasumi. Familiar enough to please fans but as a DLC she needs a full dialogue wheel so that we can learn more about her =)

Oh I don't mind either. What I'm worried about is her replacing the possibility of Kas. I don't want say a new fem to take the place Kasumi would have. Unless we can have both I'd rather have an old face who can be added apon, namely Ms. Goto. Ya know? But other than that as long as the new char (if she even exists) doesnt take Kasumi's chances away I'm fine with all the new characters we can get!

I never DLed Kasumi, the only DLC I ignored. I just felt like I didn't have any use for her. Is the DLC worth it? I assume it's better than Arrival because nothing could be worse than that pile of garbage.

The Kasumi DLC is VERY worth it....she is a brilliant squaddie in combat, adds a new to ME games flavor in her LM...James Bond kinda feel about it....Though you don't get a dialog wheel with her, she has a very upbeat, laid back personaltiy, lots of fun comments on the combat field...She certainly adds to the quality of the game. And as Mechler says....:

Two good reasons to get the DLC is for the Locust and Kasumi's flashbangs. Those are awesome.

Yea i relly hope i can choose my squad team to make the ultimate team =). But i dont know if i can be Infiltrator again, I was infiltrator last time because i thought that  shep as infiltrator and kasumi would be cool, but it was fail =( xD.

How so?....Am just curious, I'm a little surprised as I run an Infiltrator only and love the battle synergy he has with kasumi...What was your experience?

How so?....Am just curious, I'm a little surprised as I run an Infiltrator only and love the battle synergy he has with kasumi...What was your experience?

Fail i go rambo xD mainly because it was a rented game and needed to finished it quick, but it probably is because i dont know how to be an inflitrator lol.

Infiltrator isn't exactly a dream CQC class.......lower health than many and the cloak only gets him out of so much trouble....I suck at CQC with my Infiltrator and it's not just purely me, the class isn't really built for it...Though Shot Gun wielding Infiltrator players will argue with me on this, I see Infiltrators as primarily Snipers.

Infiltrators are usually snipers but sometimes I use cloak to run around the enemy then melee them

Yep, I spent a lot of time watching how Kasumi used it too and now I have a variety of uses for the cloak...flanking and Kasumi style melee attacks are two of them.

Well I picke dit becasue it sounds cool, not because it is relevant. Japanese has no different word for Crow and Raven. They use Karasu for both. There are also other possibilities. How about Himitsu(Secret)?

I finally DLed the Kasumi package and it has a lot going for it, new gun, new suit, and decent mission. Still, though I like Kasumi a lot more than Zaeed, I fear she's set up to be just a cameo. The way she gives advice and insight to what's going on around her give the feel that she's not really a big part of Shepard's story so much as an observer.

I would love to get to know her better though.

Considering the behaviour of Crows/Ravens, I don't see much correlation between them and Kasumi....But 'Himitsu' I like........fits Kasumi nicely....

Nup....From the bits and pieces coming in from BW, Kasumi getting more than cameo, we just don't know how much more....there's hope yet.

What I just hope is they give us the ability to chose squaddies.

Like let us have Ash/Kaidan, Liara, Garrus, James and maybe like a Raoli or something.

Then let us pick like two or three more. Like we can pick selectable squaddies (all with full dialogue, wheels and involvement in the main story) from ME2. Miranda, Grunt, Kasumi ect. whoever they chose to let us pick from. Then players can continue relationships with their LI's and form new ones as well as see characters in cameo, maybe Zaeed, Thane, Jack, Legion and Mordin.

Anyway I hope that's how it is. I would love for it to work like that. Have everyone do dialogue and let us choose. I would choose Ms. Goto ASAP. That is my Mass Effect wish XD
