I think we should have the option for both. I think Shep should be able to take her, but if he doesn't I like the idea of squadmates being able to end up with different characters. Like if we didn't choose Miranda she has a chance with Jacob, or Kasumi and Jacob or Garrus and Tali. But I want Shep to have a chance too XD

This guy who wrote this book called Bastion wrote a fanfic of Kasumi and asked people to donate money to read it. He gave all the money to a Japan recover fundraiser for the earthquake and tsunami relief and called it the Kasumi Goto Klepto Donation! I thought that was really cool so he told me he would let me have it to post on here when it is finished! I thought that was just so cool.

Perhaps I'm cynical but I don't think many of the people who support a Kasumi/Jacob relationship believe it because of Jacob. I think if the writers had chosen to write that haiku about anyone else many of them would be shouting "NPC/Kasumi romance, think about it he's so x and she's so y they're perfect!!!!" In reality we could percieve anyone with anyone else and justify it. Of course Jacob is a 2 syallble word which might have thrown of the meter if they used Thane or Shep.

Except considering Kasumi had already established that she had feelings for Jacob, I really doubt it was just a "throw it in since the syllables fit" scenario.

Nah it seems different. With Jacob it's lust. Keiji was LOVE. I think she could have both for Shep. I certainly think we deserve the option for it XD I think we deserve to have special dialogue and set Jacob up with someone also. He's one of my bros, he deserves a good gal!

If Shepard doesn't romance Kasumi then she'll automatically go to Jacob. I would imagine her romance w/ Jacob kind of awkward. Think Tali's romance and Garrus' romance.

Jacob is too much of a Paragon. He claims to hate assassins, because they are like mercs, whom he hates even more. Kasumi is a freelancer, isn't she? Not necessarily killing for money of course, but I do believe she steals under contract, same idea.
Plus, Kasumi is playful, and Jacob... isn't.

That's true but interestingly enough, he doesn't seem to notice Kasumi or Zaeed. I should expect for him to hate Zaeed since he's a merc or was one at least.
The fact that Kasumi is playful and Jacob isn't is thew reason why the romance would be awkward. I'm just thinking of how that would play out. Kasumi gets "The Priiize." Also, Jacob doesn't even seem to acknowledge her presence abaord the Normandy. Granted, that could be because she enjoys spying on him while cloaked.
