On most of the polls she's quite a popular character. A lot of people love her! And for a girl with only DLC status that's impressive.

I can't believe She's not one of the confirmed character yet in ME3 of the DLC status. Instead we got Zaeed who i'm not liking much in ME3 character instead of Kasumi on the list. Maybe she is a suprised? I hope so.

I find Kasumi to be the only female squadmate who provides humour and a relaxed, casual persona. Because she filled in that gap, that is perhaps why she is such a popular character.

Kasumi is my favourite female squadmate in ME period... she's the only one I really like. I do hope to see her in ME3

I read somewhere that Kasumi was confirmed as a TEMPORARY squadmate. Can somebody unconfirm that confirmation?

From what I've heard there was absolutely no information on her besides the fact that she is going to appear in ME3 period. Beyond that so far is unknown. Did you happen to have a place where you read that?

Anyway we have no idea if any squaddie is permanent this time around. The squad selection screen is one of the biggest mysteries. I'm just excited for some real news!

To be perfectly honest, as long as "the original 5" are in (Ashley/Kaidan, Garrus, Liara, Tali) are in, whatever. So long as Kasumi gets plenty of dialogue and lots more then a simply cameo, I'll be happy. Don't know if I could romance a girl whose boyfriend was recently murdered.

True, ME3 is said to take place about a year after ME2, and Keiji was dead for a while before ME2 (if I had to guess I would say probably somewhere between 4-6 months). So, total of around about 17 months.
Besides when the right person comes along...

I saw a thread asking what your Shep will do after ME3 and it got me thinking. Considering its Kasumi related, I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Pending on the Council's fate and if he even has the opportunity, my Shep will leave the Alliance to become a full-time Spectre. He and Kasumi will be in a relationship but its an indpendent one. My Shep isn't looking to tie her down or stop her from doing what she loves and I don't think she would try to stop him either. What I see is something like my Shep traveling to Illium after completing an assignment. You see him moving through an apartment district on the lower level while he tries to conceal himself. He arrives at a door with a dim light above it and punches in a code making the door slide open. Shep enters the small room and is immediately embraced and kissed by Kasumi. After a night of passion and catching up for a little bit the two don't see each other again for a few months. Shep will return to the Citadel and Kasumi will go off to another heist. Of course my Shep will want to retire someday. Maybe he'll move back to Mindoir and hopefully Kasumi joins him someday. They could even have children eventually. Who knows?  As far as they're both concerned they're not going to slow down anytime soon.

Here's hoping.

Well Ravensword, I was thinking about that too. Being the savior of the galaxy I think we'd stick out in a public setting ruining the chance of successful infiltration. But hey, if that wasn't a factor, my Shep would gladly retire and join Ms. Goto's line of work.

The co-op was a October Fools joke. It is actually lapdances.

He has stated my feelings and thoughts EXACTLY! Without Kasumi (or Gianna) my Sheps have no-one...
