True. But you're talking about the people who labled Garrus as "Archangel" and "classified" on the ME2 roster list on the website, despite being the franchise's more popular character. He was a complete enigma until the game's release. Maybe they're pulling the same thing with the other characters.
A few ideas:
"Wasabi" (My code name for her)
"Ramen"
"Ronin"
"Visas"

Yeah but it wouldn't hurt to say: Kasumi has a major role. That wouldn't spoil anything. Also: Kasumi is romancable does not spoil the actual plot
There is just one problem. So far BW had not said anything about which characters have huge role in ME3 or even that which characters are actually even romancable.
And actually saying that some character is romancable in ME3 could really well be a story spoiler.

Joke suggestion: Operation Yoink which incidentally is probably Kasumi's favorite word.

So I actually went out of my way to download all DLC for Mass Effect 2. I have a very strict "No DLC" policy with my games because I feel they're usually overpriced and kind of pointless, but ME stuff always carries over to the next game, so why not? I absolute LOVE Kasumi! She's SO amazing in every way!

Oo yeah, I can't say wheter it's overpriced or not but Kasumi is a wicked character and the mission was a blast(pun?). Was this a new game? If it is make sure to bring her through the citadel security checkpoint.FoxHound109 wrote...

I hate to say it but I don't think we're as numerous, as loud or as well represented as Garrus' fanbase. That being said the suggestion that they might do that for Kasumi makes me happy. About the code name, if they were to go that route I wish the codename would be ambiguous as to what it's referring to. All of the suggestions so far seem a tad generic or too obvious. My own suggestion Stolen Mist is child's play to figure out if you know the etymology of her name. But something like Stolen Mist has the advantage of denoting, a person, an object or a state of affairs and any of those are equally likely. So the mission has you working towards this objective but you're never really sure what you'd end up with. Makes for more of a surprise. And with a good ambiguous code name even the most watchful and canny Kasumi fan can still be caught off guard.
Joke suggestion: Operation Yoink which incidentally is probably Kasumi's favorite word.
Never understood all the Garrus hype. But the fact that threads for horrible people like Miranda and Ashley or for total loreless ones like Vega are usually ahead of us is tragic.
For me anything with mist in it is quite obvious. I doubt BW could choose a proper codename that I couldn't crack, but we'll see.
But I think we are pretty strong for a DLC charcter. Zaeed is waaay better than Jack ,Jacob, Ashley or Miranda. Kinda ties with Grunnt. And where is his support thread? Nowhere near Goto-sama's.

"I'd take the offer honey. Otherwise things go bad for you. Fast"
is the epitome of what Kasumi is to Shepard in my head. Right-hand, confidant, friend. It may just be one of my favorite lines in the whole game. I only wish I could do Jack's mission later so there would be more time to realistically develop that.

Confident, friend, left-hand ( as I'm left-handed:lol: ), that's exactly the way I see Kasumi for my Shepard.
The fact that she's not romancable strenghtened the whole thing, that's why I liked Kasumi so much. I don't want to have a romancable Kasumi, because I don't want to change that.

ScrapperSteph, we'z gonna be friends you and I:D
Romance is not necessary for my relationship with Kasumi. I'd say have it for those that want it. The problem is if they put it in the same way as for other characters and it's the only option for continued interaction? Do not want.

Yeah, I just recently took Kasumi for Jack's recruit mission and that Kasumi's line was great.
Definitely fitting for Kasumi.

"...I swear to god I didn't touch anything."
I just hope that they give you options. Maybe if you're not persuasive enough she rejects you. But if you've done enough and said the right things during her missions then you can finally break away the layers so true love shines through. I like choices. I don't want Kasumi to be another Aveline.
She is just so sexy, fun and kind that she would be great by Shepard's side.

First time I did it I had Zaeed. Second time was Garrus. I think she says it regardless but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. Maybe Miranda would override her as the second-in-command and Cerberus representative. It happens right at the end. I would say pick some renegade convo options as well to complement her. There's one line that goes something like "I'm trying to be your friend. You don't want to be my enemy" and it's right before or after Kasumi's line. Works perfectly and strengthens the notion that these people have each other's backs and are not to be ****ed with.

Nope, some characters does override each others. Sometimes it's so completely that you won't hear some other squadmember commetning it it. For example during Thane's recruit mission, where you talk with first wounded Salarian worker. If you have have Garrus and Tali in your team, Garrus will always make the comments. However if you have Kasumi and Tali, then it's Tali who will make the comments.
However sometimes changing squadmates position from right to left might give opportunity for other member to say some lines.
And what comes to Jack recruit mission. Garrus and Kasumi are good choice and it provides Kasumi saying the line.
