The author has definitely got good taste as far as Mass Effect is concerned. Likes Tricia & Yvonne as well as Kasumi, an awesome Troika. Unfortunately his own writing isn't my cup of tea.

Indeed. Unless you're a fan of ME1 characters, any info probably wouldn't be what you'd want.

Anyway Kasumi thread need more Kasumi. Post pics if you got'em. If not perhaps we can get back to discussing something about her? I don't feel like quoting myself (not to mention fixing the damn spacing from a paste, what's with that??) but my original list of suggested topics is here.

In the meantime let's try this: describe an off-duty night out with Kasumi. I didn't say date because some of us (myself included) aren't going that route so platonic answers are just as acceptable as romantic answers. And don't just go for the obvious "we just steal ****!"<_<

I'm thinking a carnival or fair type setting. Just popped into my head. Kasumi cloaks and bypasses the line. Shepard just shakes his head and waits it out. Once inside they do some rides and load up on pastries and cotton candy. At some point Kasumi wins a plush toy at a midway game. There is also a little girl there that looks disappointed at losing. Kasumi plays again and wins a bigger toy that she gives to the girl. Shepard meanwhile wins at a BB shooting game and wins a fish. Meanwhile the little girl is now chattering happily with Kasumi. However she strayed away from her parents and can't find them.  Getting a bit exhausted by the girl's enthusiasm, Kasumi leaves to find them while Shepard watches the kid. She eventually calls in their position and it's up to Shepard to return the kid to them. Once he does he meets up with Kasumi again. She's clearing the Space Crowns & Anchors and security is getting suspicious. Shepard turns to distract them but when he turns back she's disappeared. When he gets back to the shuttle she's already there with a giant wad of cotton candy. After a mostly joking rebuke they head back to the Normandy. Joker of course berates them for not getting him a plushie.

-Anything with Tali.(Like shopping for hoods and enviro suits)

Somehow I suspect she is very proud of her japanese heritage. I mean it's blatantly obvious that with a name like Kasumi you are japanese. But she chose the very japanese sounding zakere ward(with a japanese restaurant) and also made a big deal about her being japanese in the advertisement she made.
So she most likely enjoys anything even remotely japanese ranging from anime to kabuki

"Kasumi" could still be misinterpreted as coming from another culture. And what do you mean she "chose" the Zakera Ward? If you mean that's where she first met Shepard technically she met him outside since her ad was before customs. As for why there as opposed to another ward, Zakera is also stated to be predominantely human and it's logical that Shepard would go (or be directed) there. As for the Japanese line I already pointed out (albeit humorously) that it didn't make much sense in context seeing as how they've never met and no one's seen her face. We (the player) were supposed to associate her name as Japanese but I'm not certain it would be as obvious in universe. I think I saw on other threads that national identity may be diminished in the ME universe given they're in space and dealing with aliens.

Still she could very well be "very Japanese".

I think that Kasumi is Mass Effect 2's variation of Mass Effect 1 Tali-"Extremely likable and has great Character Growth and Story Potental.

I am hoping She's brought back as a Squadmember and Love Intrest because Kasumi is a great Character and is In my opinion The best Female Character in The Mass Effect Series.

Honestly i think all the other thread the characters fan dosen't go on topic and talk about there favorite character as much. They all just being random talk/spammage i guess. Going off topic as well.

There was an accidental leak of the whole plot. Bioware is more cauitos now. Yes, it would be nice to have more infos we can gnaw on, but Crutch has topics we can discuss in the meentime

Very true. However that does not justify us doing the same. We had the Ziggurat story arc but that was enough. There is a reason why the mods are only posting their supports of Kasumi here. We must not waver from our ways when we are finally getting reuslts.

No one else wants to speculate on a night out with Kasumi? Disappointing.

Also I will again mention the caveat with the leak- quite a few people weren't too happy with some of the characters and rampant gloom and pessimism dominated their threads. I think we're prefectly content where we are. Less is more.

Night with Kasumi... hmmm I honestly don't know really. She might enjoy herself at a carnival or maybe a auction for antique books and stuff. we don't have enough solid information about her character to speculate much.

on another note where are Ravensword and Golden Owl?

Oh boy I go off the board and we fall off first page. The wagyuu cattle run astray. Orsi is still with her boyfriend and I still need to wright about four pages regarding Lawrence Dermott and the Ahiman Razon so be more lively. Or do some insanely powerful shinto ritual to help me deal with everything sooner so I could return properly.

Have to say i just adore Kasumi's (loyal outfit) in ME2. Hope she has something similar when she appears in ME3

Interesting, Kasumi and Miranda are generally the only ones i change.
