It's a psedonym/stage name. Many celebs have them. Don't ask which is which though.

Or a slip of tongue by the devs. Or the demo. With some gameplay and a chance for our russian friends to datamine more recent info on Kasumi. Not that I would read anything past: Yes, she's in or yes she's LI or yes she's perma. That's all I wanna know. The rest will come with the first playthrough. Oh, off topic but I wonder wether we'll ahve a clear antagonist. For example Harbinger comming back to shout Kasuming direct control. Yeqah, imagine HArbi posessing the asari councillor who kills the turian with that cool yellow biotic stuff. The only one left is the salarian because rarely he is able to act nice. in ME1 anyway

BTW- I just started another playthrough with no LI in ME1 (and will carry that into another ME2 playtrhough) just in case  we get our Kasumi wish.

I forgot how much I hate that clunky mako and I hope they don't bring it back

It's a long shot but i wish haha. It'd be nice to get an unexpected squadmate for the full game apart from the regulars from ME1 if we get a full time memebr from ME2 i'd love if they went with Kasumi just because nobody would expect it since she was a DLC character in the first game she's prime material to get the cameo treatment.

Though with games i have learned to never expect the unexpected XD

Oh I made an insanity(only in me2) shepard just for that eons ago. Finished 1 at level 54 so be prepared. Male Sentinel. Oh BTW interestingly enough I found ME1 utterly boring on my first palythrough. But while skimming through my favourtite magazine I've found a short review of Stolen Memory. I felt like maaaan I MUST play ME2. BUT i didn't want the game to make decisions for me, so I steeled myself and shot myself through ME1.

But it has some epic cut scenes.

The sidequests seemed tedious but the main story missions were good. Hard to get back into it now, but I have a female Shep I still need to get through.

Yes, going back for another run on ME1 really has made me appreciate ME2 even more. ME2 is such a smoother play without the lag and loading. I had a "critical mission failue" on the bridge at Feros, because my Mako just froze and I couldn't move in battle.

I hate driving that Mako......I mean I'm Shepard! Why don't I have someone trained to drive me around in the darn thing?

An empty heart awaiting a chance for Kasumi is well worth it though.

Maybe you do, maybe you're controling Private J Numbnuts during those missions. He's been trained to drive, but rather badly. You never see him otherwise because he's a bit slow on the uptake and after the Jenkins fiasco you don't risk losing another enlisted man- looks bad on the reports don't you know. And if there's one thing Shepard hates, regardless of background, profile or playstyle, it's reports:devil:

Hi all,

I am about 75% though ME2 and plan to play it through 2 or 3 more times   I am really happy I found this game, played ME1 a month ago.

I love a lot of these characters and my favorite has become Kasumi Goto even though her role in ME2 is somewhat limited, her personality is fantastic and her look is great and her combat is different compared to several others who seem to be interchangeable.

I have done a tone of reading and searching and from what I read she "can’t be a large part of ME3" due to her possible death in ME2... is this confirmed, if she is in it will be small parts, … /sad

This is a complete downer for me if true, I will still play ME3 plan to pre order, I hope they find a way to get her more involved in ME3.... I am sure it will be a great game either way but boy they really got this character right and would love to see her over about half of the squad in ME2 to be honest. 

She is in my top 3 favorites of all the ME characters.
