I think she'd be a better mother than Miranda (too strict, no fun) or Jack (LOL). She's probably better than Ashley too - Kasumi can teach kids about art, history, technology, and a bunch of things, while Ashley's children will be better at poetry (except Haiku, which again goes to Kasumi) and hand-to-hand combat. As for Liara, there is no fair comparison as her children will be Asari.
But nah. While I like kids, I have no particular desire to have any of my own.
I can agree with the underlined yet still reject the idea of Kasumi as a mom. I don't think she'd be bad with kids, I just don't see her as having kids, as a mother.
Disagree about Miranda as well. She'll be protective as hell but we've seen that she's not all business all the time. She can switch off. Shepard can bring out a more emotional side. I think kids can do so as well, even do it better.
Not right off, but I think once they settled down Kasumi would be open to kids. I also don't agree that she would be a bad mum. Now that I think about it, I find that she is the one most suited. She is kind, loving, street-smart, and playful.

I can see Kasumi saying she clearly dislikes them due to something happening on one of her heists.

^ Read Miranda's SB Dossier after you urge her to talk to Oriana.
Besides the usual objections of poor writing I think you can safely place that convo as happening before the culmination of the romance. Hey I didn't say it happened overnight. Miranda didn't have a lot of people to open up to. It'll take time.
I'm not saying anything about what she wants. I'm saying I can't imagine the character as having kids. Though come to think of it I can't imagine her as wanting to either. It just doesn't fit damn it!Shepard_Vas_Normandy wrote...

Again not saying she'd be bad at it... ugh see above.

Nothing confirmed by Bioware, just the leaked info.
She will be returning and will have her own mission where you work with her.
I can go into more specifics but spoilers aren't looked upon so well around these parts.

All I can say is don't hold your breath.
No I don't know any spoilers. But based on what I've been hearing all ME2 squadmates are sidelined. Kasumi is DLC and doesn't have a giant war story plot hook like Cerberus, which bodes even worse.

You can always imply your character somehow got with her..it just won't happen in game if you are okay with that.

Liara'a children would be asaris, Tali would probably die if you tried. Tis not this bad for for Femshep, but Kasumi is the only chance for MaleShepard to have a Legacy. Kelly Chambers does not count. He probably already has half warren kids(scale-itch), and is generally an "everything that moves" type. And Chakwas is as old as your grandmother. That about sums it up

Yeah..you aren't going to get an LI with her and just as the rest of ME2 squadmates they are only making cameos.

I don't think that's right. I think that the LI gets presidence over other ME2 squadmates, based on the wording Casey Hudson has said in interviews. Its just that the others will be less of a factor. (He hinted that past the already comfirmed squad there was one or two other placeholders. So what I think it amounts too is one LI/VIP position plus the 6 or so other squadmates.

Miranda is curable. Seriously. They brought a man from the dead. I think they can take care of one little tumor.Mechler wrote...
No I'm not. And I don't want ME3 to be the first bioware disappointment. About kids: Well, I really don't like Miranda, but a bigger problem is she's sterile as far as I know. Jack's not, but she's just disgusting. Inside and out. Imagine the children's upbringing. Ashley? She will teach them a lot of useful things, like: (western) Poetry, hand to hand combat, and how to be a xenophobic CENSORED.

Jack's disgusting? How? She's not exactly a homemaker, she's got issues but disgusting is a little much.
Character bashing aside I don't think "Kasumi's the only human immediately available for kids without serious issues" is a very convincing criteria. And even that last part's debatable.

In the meantime here are some screenshots. Got a few good ones:

This was supposed to be a good one but Shep's expression makes it look like someone cut the cheese:

Get your prints at the gift shop!:

This is my absolute favorite. It ecompasses everything I see in this relationship. Badass infiltrators getting ready to show you how it's done:

Shepard: Let's go to work.
Kasumi: You got it boss.
And last but not least:

Problem?
I've got more but they're not as good. Besides that's enough image spamming for now.

I guess I'm OK with that, but why won't Bioware confirm her... they've confirmed ALMOST everyone else already (Grunt and Samara/Morinth aside).

She is so important that they keep everything a secret. Her soryline and romance arc was not exposed becasue it exists only on paper till end of feburary. Bioware will then quickly implement her in 6 days.
Is there any chance i'm right?

Nice thought.
But:
1. I'd prefer a bigger role for other characters over Kasumi, even though I DEFINITELY want to see her in the game.
-and-
2. I'm afraid to post now because AgitatedLemon is threatening to report me for posting in the appropriate threads.

Think, Legion. Chronologicly he is the last squadie you pick up. Yes he will probably be a "racial leader" but so will Tali and Wrex. He is not really more importnat than any other ME2 suadie(in ME2 I meen) but he was always mentioned as the priamry antagonist of the game. Hell I knew about Legion being a abd guy before even a mention of Mr Illusive or the Collectors. So what di the truth turn out to be once we reached the ndgame of ME2? Oh and all the Archangel pseudonym stuff. Nothing new. if they do it with Kasumi. Not to mention Garrus(adn Tali) were made romancable because of fan pressure)

Nice to see more discussion on here. But yeah any more thoughts about the graybox? I'm seriously reconsidering redoing the mission (nothing wrong with that, more Kasumi) and telling her to get rid of it. I didn't like how angry Shep was (for some reason) and Kasumi actually seemed more unsure. I think she'll be happier if she destroys it. I can almost go as far as saying I don't care about the data. I'd much rather have a healthy and happy Kasumi at my side.
