I'm guessing Team Garrus will have an unfair advantage in numbers, since, strictly speaking, most if not all of us are already 'on' that team.

LOrik vs Nikilus for me? Tough call. I like them both. (Don't hate me please! *grin*)

What about Team Gavorn, given that the guy is voiced by Gideon Emery (Fenris)? Any takers?  (I swear Gideon Emery could read an ingredient label and produce swoons. :) )

God damn you and you variables!

Arrrg, god damn it I really love Gavorn, but I've got to stick with Lorik. (sorry)

Maybe it's that renegade gig. Going against the grain is something our people know how to do pretty well, I dare say.

Oh god don't remind me, I had to grow up in that era, it wasn't fun...

Perhaps Quin, Nihlus and others had a couple of options of human accents and tones to choose from on their translator programs? And those we hear are the ones they personaly prefered.

Wow, never have a seen someone grasp at straws as soon as they enter the conversation. That's a pretty wild guess you've got there. So you think Lorik choose to sound suave, and you think Nihlus choose to sound like a super villain?

Wait a minute, what if Lorik isn't the suave, sultry bastard he's portrayed as? What if (without his translator) he sounds like Danny Dyer with throat cancer?!

I've been living a lie...

Of course I am guessing, grasping at straws and making up wild theories when I basicaly don't have a clue about something and frankly none of us have since we are not among the ME writers. Lorik may have chosen the suave gentleman option (if that even exists outside my imagination of course) but the guy can certanly back his cool voice up with a very cool personality.

Yeah, it actually does happen rather rarely, heh. Born and raised in New York City. Family was off the boat in the 1910s or so but stuck with all-Irish countrymen in Manhattan for a long time, apparently. As the times changed eventually I probably should have ended up with other nationalities in my genetic makeup but lo and behold, my mother got involved with an Irishman.

Spoke with my father for the first time last year and he confirmed for me that he's entirely Irish; lives in Dublin. Hah.

Heh heh, that's rather interesting. Aaaah the Irish, we're stubborn bunch!

I actually have quite a lot of relatives in New York, although they arrived in the late 40's and early 50's after the economic trouble Ireland faced after the second world war. They live in long island, there's quite a prominant Irish-american community around where they reside, a lot of very nice people there.

Oh yeah, I recall being in Long Island quite a few times as a youngster due to my grandmother having various family friends there. And they were probably Irish family friends for the most part, no doubt. :wizard:

Really? Specifcally the area is called Rockaway Beach. I'm looking it up now actually, aparently it's known as the "Irish Rivieria" and around 25.4% of the population there say they have Irish ancestory (according to wikipedia that is)

It wouldn't happen to be that bit of long island that you visited was it?

You know, honestly, it's been a long time and I'm not entirely sure offhand. Let me contact my uncle up in New York (I'm in Florida now) and ask him about it.

Short answer for now, though: Prooobably. :P

Gavorn is more light hearted to me, than Lorik. Although the way and tone Lorik says "What?..." if you're a real ****** and give his data to Anoleis is just....heartbreaking.

Tough call, and honestly I can't in good conscience pick either one! Plus Garrus always comes first, we know that. ;)

Also, for some reason the username "BubbleSauce" and Lorik fit so well toghether. Lorik seems like a bubbly kind of guy...haha

That's called the "Cosmologist" method, Lov.

"What the hell is that thing? A Galaxy, dust cloud or an alien spacecraft? Ah hell, just slap some wierd numeric name like M52AG1134ASL on it and hope we're right."

Well we all know why he had to die.

Hmm, Gavorn was voiced by Gideon Emery? Well I do like Fenris quite much...

But I think I'm gonna roll with Team Saren. Renegade turians are badass!

Oh god I felt bad just watching the youtube video of someone doing that, it's horrible, it makes me want to pick him up and hug the sentimental old sod...

And Lorik can be light hearted, he just needs a few glasses of his favourite chardonnay to warm the blood a bit, the same as any discerning gentleman of course... ;)

Isn't there a video of him in the shadow broker archives of him running away from a firefight on illium? I wouldn't say that he's fearless, there isn't exactly any evidence that he is, in fact the only peice of character development we have would suggest entirely otherwise.

Well, there is one other peice of charcter development, one awesome, fantastic, brilliant peice of charcter development... But that wouldn't have any baring on whether he's brave or not.

Yes.

I think I know how the basic scientific methods works and it it something I like and support. That doesn't mean that I think it always works as intended. Like everything else it is often more of a popularity contest between people with different personal opinions.

No, I'm joking, however it must be said that out of the teams that have been formed so far, Lorik seems to be the only one that is... Well you know... breathing.

As far as I remember, there's only one video of Gavorn: him shooting some vorcha on Omega. In fact, I don't remember any videos of firefights on Illium.

There's a vid of him on Illium, but he's sat on a bed and then a human man approaches him. It sparked the theories that Gavorn is gay.

Edit: Top...eh, have an Old Spice Garrus *shameless selfpromo*
