Just dropping a personal wish: Want Garrus to be more assertive in his relationship with Shepard! ME2 had me worried the first time that it didn't go too well between them.
Is it so awful of me to want to see a bit of possessiveness from him?
yes...yes it is. But darn it!

Haha theres nothing wrong there and it fits him so well.

Very 'nothing to worry about' on the outside but when something actually happens you know hes gonna be impulsive about it. Im sure Garrus will be protective of their relationship when it matters the most without even trying to make it look that way.

My internet is a bit wonky right now, so I'm unable to read earlier pages in this forum.  I'm not sure if what I am writing here is repetitive or not.  Forgive me, if it is.

One of my favorite relationships in ME2 was between femshep (soldier) and Garrus.  I loved the awkwardness of the scene in femshep's cabin, and the unanswered question of whether the wine that Garrus brought was for Shep or himself! (Note: Kasumi said it was champagne in one conversation.)

The only thing I DIDN'T like about the scene was that you didn't find out whether it all went well or not until after the game ended (the cuddle scene that was an Easter Egg).  I would have liked a quick bed scene with femshep saying that: 1) he really impressed her with his reach; and 2) it certainly "went right" for her, did it go right for him too?

I'm not sure that there is any potential for a long-term relationship - but it would have been nice to see more.  The romance/relationship/buddy-thing felt more genuine than anything femshep had with the ME1 LIs.

BEFORE people freak out even more that Garrus will "die" - keep in mind that he DID "die" in me2. Theres like a number of ways he can die actually. Of course by choice if you set it up that way. Im sure Garrus, and a multiple characters will die in this game - Im just sure its going to be more of those "by choice" scenarios. BW knows better than to make it that its only story based w/o the players consent. If they put such an emphasis that if they messed up his scars - fans would rage, than they are fully aware that if they kill him off [not by player choice]- there would be an apocalpyse XD

Ah, I havent thought of that idea of the whole "Garrus calling thru the intercom/omnitool". I REALLY love it!!!  Hearing his relief would be gold. Not to mention heartwarming to know he's so worried and that he cares XP

I keep thinking that he really will say that "Im not losing her again" line. I really do. And This was VERY similar to that idea i had when they meet up. Garrus is always trying to play it "cool" in front of Shepard. Though deep down he's freaking out. Even in romantic conversation - he tries so hard XD "You know me - I always like to savor the last shot before popping the heat sink" - smooth garrus. Real smooth.

I keep getting the impression turians are protective of their mates. Am I the only one thinking this? [i doubt it] :3 He can try to play it off "cool and collected" as always, but now that he's actually IN a relationship - he might showcase some sort of "bodyguard moments"  Though he respects Shepard enough to let her do her own thing of course, but I would like to see some "protective turian instincts" [if they have any] at any given moment. lol

@Aeowyn : oh my goodness - the memories XD I can never get enough of Old Spice Garrus. NEVER.

I agree on the cool meeting. I was thinking something slightly different. Maybe Shepard and Garrus are reunited in the middle/end of a fight with... dunno, Cerberus troops? Garrus, OF COURSE, headshots some enemy next to Shepard and then he approaches to her.

G: Come on, you know it, I never fail a shot.

I forgot what pg I mentioned it on....im too lazy to go thru 12pgs right now, let alone idk if it was on this thread XD  But i made up a scenario that they do meet up at the end of a big fight. Ok, we all know how in me3, now theres moments where the ground/platform Sheps on will be destroyed - causing her/him getting blown off the inital route. Well i thought this for Garrus x Sheps reunion : ["yay" another Arc scenario! heh] Imagine along, fellow Garrus fans ;3

Shep would be with the squad fighting off cerberus....or even better - them new hideous mutated husks, but then goes off ahead to scout the area but gets separated from them. The teammates want to go down to help Shep but its better they need to keep moving ahead and she'll catch up. They decide to meet at a rendezvous point. Shes alone for abit and runs into trouble. Shepard must survive wave after wave of enemies [reminiscent to the Arrivial DLC]. Whether you survive it all, or dont - a cutscene triggers and Shep is surrounded. She's outnumbered. All of a sudden a concussive shot[or his new proximinity mine?] is thrown to make some space b/w Shep and the creatures, and then the creatures start falling, noticing they are each getting shot in the head in quick succession from  a high vantage point. Though she cant see who it is. Once its all over Shep comes out of cover and hears a familiar voice from behind her and turns to see Garrus holding his sniper rifle over his shoulder above her on a platform. He'll say something smug, grinning, looking at her with his heartfelt eyes[knowing he's missed her something fierce, but tries to hide it] and jump down to meet her, walking up to her possibly quickly to see shes ok. [and deep down he was worried as hell about her since he heard the whole Earth being attacked situation.] They team up to head over to meet up with the others at the rendezvous point. AND since Garrus is the only one with Shep at the moment, there could be alot of banter b/w them

Wow this is very powerful. The talons make it feel so foreing (its one part of Garrus we dont get to see ingame. Maybe in ME3 ?) but the tags render such an easily recognizable feeling. It is stunning

Edit: seems like Loenida said it about the talons before i did ( sorry i jsut skipped to quoting when i saw the pic). I think those talons i would like to see even more then the shirtless chest. IIn my eyes Garrus taking off those gloves is meaningful of a new level of trus between them, of him not being afraid to hurt Shep. I guess its just a fangirl thing

That image with the dogtags is really beautiful. I want to see his talons in-game though. For some reason I imagine them being darker like a hawk's or a falcon's.

When I read the suggestion of Garrus and Shep running into each other during a fight, I imagined that scene from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End where Will and Elizabeth are making out in the middle of the final battle. And then I imagined them immediately falling into battle couple synchronicity a la Chuck and Sarah from Chuck. Now I'm fairly certain my brain is just a series of television and movie clips loosely patched together with string.

Also, I could totally see him saying something like "I can't lose her again". And I'd love every minute of it.

I have no preference between Kaidan and Garrus. Its why I have two Shepards. The only choice is who do I choose for my canon playthrough.

I have no preference between Kaidan and Garrus. Its why I have two Shepards. The only choice is who do I choose for my canon playthrough.

Try both out in ME3, see which one you like better and then decide! You can always change which one is your 'canon' after all.
