and i missed the "j' in jrpg, bubble. lol. you are correct. i haven't really liked any other jrpgs beyond ffx.

So saying Nihlus faked his own death, changed his look and then when someone suspects something isn't right, he just starts dancing? That is brilliant!

Also Dragon age is not jrpg, bioware is canadian, and FFX was brilliant, screw the haters! Sometimes I put on that game just to watch the intro cinematic!

Not sure if you guys know(If you do just ignore this statement lol), there's a remake of FFX, called FFX HD(Not out yet!). Wish they would remake FF7 as well. It is to be released on PS3 and PS Vita if i am not mistaken.

Aren't humans stronger than turians, period? They have talons, sure, but we are born of apes. They are... dinosaur-bird-cats.

Are you seriously suggesting humans are stronger than dinosaurs?

Granted, not all dinosaurs are T-Rex sized, but Turians seemed based off of something like a Utahraptor.

I picture Turians as stronger and faster. They're larger and more compact.

EDIT: Though, Vega is rather exceptionally ape-like and stronger than most humans probably. It'd be a good fight.

FINAL EDIT: Changed Deinonychus to Utahraptor. That one makes more sense for my point.

We've seen Turians do some pretty impressive physical stuff, like throwing humans around like rag dolls (Garrus vs Harkin, Saren vs Shepard), but lets face it, Vega is a tank, and Garrus has always been more of an infiltrator.

I think Garrus is around 6''9, maybe 300 lbs or something. Vega looks to be about 6'6, and maybe 260 lbs.

Femshep comes up to his eyeballs, so I doubt he's that tall. Maybe 6'2 if she's 5'10.

I'm guessing they're TF Prime 'bots as I recognise Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Bulkhead but I'm not sure about the second one. Is it Arcee? (G1/TFA/IDW Comics Arcee is pink (and in the case of IDW also a bloody psycho) but I'm not sure if Prime Arcee is pink or not) The only blue 'bot I remember from Transformers Animated is Sentinel Prime AKA Tickimus Prime and that's the wrong body shape for him.

This is very, very true. FFVIII was amazing, then FFX was the icing on the cake. 

Then we got FFXIII and I died a little on the inside. If only Square had managed to put Brandon Keener in there somehow, that would have at least made it tolerable.

Intellectually Garrus, physically probably Vega. Garrus seems to be more of the "long range-hail mary" sniper, not a CQB type of guy.

Wasn't he the top ranked hand-to-hand combat specialists on 'that one ship'? Besides that spec-ops turian lady who hated his guts?

I think humans have more muscle mass in general, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are better fighters (that said, Anderson totally tanks C-Sec turian in ME1). Turians have more... *snort* reach than humans, and they have talons.

I remember a thread about human vs. turian barfight and who would win. I believe the consensus was that a human has alot more close-in power, and if the human can get within the turians reach, could steamroll 'em and win. Otherwise, the human gets his trachea sliced open at 1.5 meters.

Wait, wasn't there a page somewhere that stated that turians are usually stronger unless the human is in top shape to match them?
Not that strength alone determines a match. Seeing Femshep down 2 turian thugs with just a knee and a nerve punch makes one wonder...
