Garrus strikes me as a great bloke to go out for a drink with. A real mate. Going out with Mordin would be a bit of a headache and i would just stare down Miranda's top so she would slap me. Samara would bang on about something spiritual and Thane would just chat some philosophical BS. And Jack? No thanks. Garrus seems like a real decent bloke/ cat thing with human neck.
Jesus christ, could someone please tell me where the hell this "cat" thing came from because I really dont see it at all!

Just saw it on Zero Punctuation. Not sure really. They remind of a cross between the elites from Halo and the catfish. Just my opinion.

Meet the Sniper + Garrus put me in a really giggly mood. Now I'm going to be laughing to myself at work and everyone will think I'm crazy.
This thread ROCKS (more than usual) the last couple of days.
And bolded for a question - isn't that a prerequisite to hang out in this thread?
Have a Garrus comic - courtesy of ElysianOrchid. (ETA: I'm dense and didn't catch this is a series. Here are links to the second, third, and fourth - and I think the fourth is my favorite.

It's the nose and mouth lines , they're very feline

Turian mouths. The pointy bits could be compared to the rounded parts of a cat's mouth :3 (what the "3" stands for in that emote...I don't know if there's a term for them in English). With the difference that they're pointy for turians and rounded for cats.
The nose as well, I guess. The ridges on the nose look a bit like a snarling feline's.

Shepard should have some seriously scary nightmare about Saren and becoming like him. It could make some sweet cinematic.k8ee wrote...

I'd like nihlus to appear again in some form too. Whether it be a dream, flashback or an old vid or something. I just want to see his pretty self again.

Yes, exactly like that. Some people might argue that Saren's story is dead, but just a little Saren in ME3 would be great. An awesome cinematic dream or some creepy recordings he made between the evolution comic and the first game.
Add that to my demands for ME3...
I'm really looking forward to my eight disc ME3 collectors edition, lol.

Oh, I am crazy, for sure. They just don't know it yet.
Edit: just to state how much I love Lordess Alicia's sense of humor. Hell, even her serious stuff is awesome. Plus she features turians a lot!

I'm new to the Bioware forums.
I have to say it's a relief to find other people who love Garrus and spend as much time speculating and thinking up possibilities for his character as me. I was getting a little worried that I was the only one

I really, really got attached to his character at the beggining of ME1. He was the driving force that let you, the player know that Humanity had a larger place in the universe, and he was that "friend" on your side who welcomed your species into the larger universe.Obsydian wrote...

When he died, it was as if you lost your support line, and a good friend. Good story writing on Bioware's part, it's a great plot key to make the player feel helpless and like someone he/she cares about is lost.

Saren should stay dead though, even if he is a very cool and badass villain. But yeah, he could send Shepard some disturbing and scary message in a letter or something.k8ee wrote...

I think it would work really well if shepard had nightmares about saren in ME3 because there would be a legitimate fear that she’s slowly turning into him. After the events in Arrival I’m sure she would start to question how far she would go to save the universe, would she eventually do something as extreme as Saren? In ME1 it was easier to criticise saren for his actions , to distance herself from “that kind” of spectre, a spectre she would never be. But Now, 2 games later, she’s on trial for the death of hundreds of thousands of lives she sacrificed for the greater good.
I also think it would be interesting (if saren doesn’t appear in her nightmares) if shepard’s indoctrination came in the form of saren (if she does suffer some form of indoctrination) like a menacing presence convincing her to give in. And It will get stronger until shepard figures out how to stop reaper indoctrination.

That's a great idea. It could start slowly with little things in the background, like briefly seeing Saren walking down a corridor in the Normandy. Then you hear his voice whispering something when visistng a empty room in some abandoned base. And then the nightmares start.
Yes, I totally want Shepard to lose her/his mind in ME3. Garrus can protect me... or at least, lock me in a closet when I'm having an 'episode'. Even better, he can hold me down.
