On topic of female turian voices: The voice of Carolyn Seymor (Dr Chakwas) with a flanging effect on a turian badass milf... Yes please! And imagine Solana voiced by Amy Winehouse!  What a damn shame it's impossible...

Oh my goodness, how did I not notice that his mandibles were so curved? Oh and I thought of one more thing, his fringe. Like garrus , nihlus has a long fringe which just makes him look that much cooler

And you are so right about the "cornpipe by a fireplace" feel to lorik's voice. Like he's constantly swirling a glass a scotch LOL I will be very disappointed if I can't sit down and have a proper drink with the man next time. He's just so charming! And like you said before his interest in humans is so refreshing , I love turians who break the mould (techno turian dancing, garrus being a "bad" turian are other examples ) .  Please ,please, please bioware let me flirt with him in ME3 *puppy dog eyes*.

I started it, and then wondered if it was going to be too much. Heaven forbid anyone think I'm trying too hard. But if there is demand, then what sort of mass effect fan would I be if I didn't oblige? Between drawing comics, 'shopping Garrus into all manner of ridiculousness, dling movies and tv episodes and writing randomness on the BSN... my halfwit boss does tend to wander over to my desk and ask questions. Luckily I have an efficient system of decoy windows open on my computer at all times. That being said, I never like to admit defeat... so if you really want it...

i got paid to type for awhile. i was up till around 104 wpm.... then i quit that job and am down to like 90. its a thing i've always been good at.

Love you both for saying that. I'm actively nurturing this fantasy that Nihlus is... was... a standard of good looks among his kind. A walking aphrodisiac. Nothing rational behind that either. It's the thing with turians. They blow your mind off. Literally.

Hey. I have a question. If our favorite turians were to be portrayed by unmasked, un-costumed humans, who'd play who? 

For some reason, I cast Johnny Depp as Nihlus. Saw this picture of him in a commercial for something and went: whoa! Nihlus! Of course now I can't find that picture, but the impression lingers. What do you think?

Nihilus is definitely the coolest of cool, god among turian looks wise! To be truthful though I like the way turians in general look over most of the other aliens. Out of all of them, they feel the most alien to me at least in looks. Doesn't help that they also have cool voices.

Lorik on th other hand, is a turian with class, a man whom strolls through life with wit, charm, and a cane of high quality. Every chat with this man imparts a hearty dose of wisdom and curiosity. Why this fine turian has a friend in every pub, and a drink in every claw.

Romance or not, Lorik would definitely be a great character to see in ME3. You just don't see characters of his style in the game.
