Yes. Palaven is under attack, and survivors have fled to a nearby moon. Shepard will have at least one mission involving Palaven.Sialater wrote...
Hey, y'all? My search-fu fails me. Was there, or was there not, something leaked awhile back about Palaven being destroyed?

Is there official/unofficial confirmation?
ETA: Since I've already been spoiled on this, I don't mind asking. I just don't want MORE spoilers, hence my not googling it.

Sia. I remember Flatline posted a Swedish article on TCR that I translated into English. It was mentioned there. It should be in the ME3 spoiler thread.
Which I don't have access to. Darnit.
And hi! Was just wonder how you were a bit ago.

Yeah it was in one of the first comics that featured ME3. I think it was GI. The magazine did a brief overview of the galaxy, but devoted a paragraph to the situation on palaven. No need to worry about spoilers, because thats all we really know and has been revealed.
Somehow the reapers overwhelmed the turians and forced survivors to flee toward the moon. When the turians are a race where civilians are only children and auxilery species, you get an idea of just how powerful the reapers are.

I've been skulking this thread for months now. You guys are hilarious and amazing so I finally decided to post here. *was gonna post offering pic of garrus but is confused by the code

To post an image, you need to host the image at an image hosting site. (like imageshack) (Always host the image! hotlinking is borderline criminal!)
Now image hosting sites usually give you the url code automatically, but for practice sake this is how you show an image in most forums. I am going to use parantheses in the code, but when doing this to an actual image use brackets [like this].
(img)url-of-the-image(/img)
To find the URL of the image, right click the image and select "view image." That will take you to the image by itself, and give you its url (Try it on the image I posted above). However NEVER USE THE URL FOR THE IMAGE WITHOUT HOSTING. That is called hotlinking, and it eats up resources by whoever is currently hosting the image, and on a popular forum like BSN that could kill lesser sites.

^On the flipside, humanity's military might in the masseffect universe only account for 3% of its population and humanity did pretty damn well in the first contact war all things considered.
True, but the Turian fleet was a task force. Humanity would have been steamrolled had the turians actually rolled out their military might to fight the humans. Especially when humanity essentially consisted of earth, and a few colonies that had populations the size of australia.
The reapers attacked the turian homeworld. A world where every man and woman is/was in the military at some time. Where the government hands out pamphlets detailing how to make bombs that can take out tanks. (Seriously, its in the codex)

I was playing Need for Speed The Run Demo (really awesome) and we all know expensive cars are awesome... And what goes good with cars is.... Really hot people, but we donn't like people, so the best idea ever is... A Turian, chilling... With a Bugatti! Or another awesome car. It would be so awesome to see a Turian in a nice sexy/amazing outfit, posing with a sexy/amazing car.... You all know its true! Is the best fantasy EVER *goes off into random fantasy land after posting somewhat random post*

[Collar Poppin]Awesomely, there was a dance party tonight and Garrus shook his turian booty on the dance floor, especially to "I'm Sexy and I Know It", and casually (and liberally) used Shepard's and the Techno Turian's dance moves. It was glorious...though my battle armor is quite sweaty (ewwwww).
(Yes the visor is missing but I hope to have at least a blue glow monocle for ComicCon.)

Yeah but I use view image to judge how big it is going to be before posting. If images are too big, it will kill people with slow connections.
Also as always, never copy and paste without hosting. That is called hotlinking and is borderline criminal.
