The video was awesomely amazing and seriously disturbing, which is the best kind of entertainment. You're my hero.

I get the feeling the Chewin gets a lot of proposals.....

It's good to have one or two boys on the side... errr... even if one of them is imaginary. It's even better if they are both real. Unfortunately I can never seem to get them to get along... though I have discovered that if one of them is imaginary it's way easier for them to get along. Current boyfriend has a really hard time accepting that I have a secret femgamer love affair with Garrus.

Now there's a question. How do you guys explain your mass effect/garrus/turian love/interest/denial to your significant other? I hid it for a long time, and now that I've been exposed for the weirdo that I am, my boyfriend is constantly complaining that i love Garrus more than him.

By now my girl has realised that I have my weird habits, like drawing sexy female turians for example. Sometimes she makes fun of my fanboyness of course but that is just fun and actualy quite fair.

My boyfriend just generally accepts it now, though he does complain like you said that I love Garrus more I even admit to him that I do.. sometimes

Yeah...the evidence was there  I’m sure he doesn't get the attraction but he understands worshiping a character as a fan, since he has collectibles of his favourite characters too. So it’s not THAT weird in comparison to the franchises and characters he enjoys personally.

He isn't into mass effect or any bioware games so it's something he and I don't share as a nerdy couple.I think he played ME2 for a bit but he just doesn't like story heavy games that have a lot of dialogue and cut scenes so he gave up on it. I remember he DID say he thought garrus was cool before my crush became obvious (he got to omega before abandoning the game ) , but now he'll occasionally poke fun at my fangirl ways "At least I don't like a space grasshopper" LOL Other than that I don’t think he minds, as long as the "other guy" is only pixels though... so sorry chewin

But I have to say I'm not as obsessed with Garrus like some of the others here...
Ok, I like him a lot, collect fanarts (generally ME-Fanart and nothing with naked Turians ), but I don't squee when I see Brandon Keener or something, don't have a Garrus wallpaper either (I would have, but I love that picture of my little baby son ), sorry Garrus! ;P)

Well, back when we were still a couple, whenever he gave me sh*t about Garrus, I'd fire back with Talimancer jokes.

It was a good system, and we were able to nerd out and laugh about it together, but eventually our incompatibility in other areas of life became so blatant that I unceremoniously gave the poor guy the boot.  I still feel bad about breaking up, but lying about how I feel just to keep him happy would inevitably blow up in my face and wind up hurting everyone even more.

The hatemail I still occasionally get only confirms that I made the right choice in this matter.  I mean, Jesus Christ, this guy was a one-man soap opera.  Really smart, really sweet, really creative, and damn fine (ooh mercy, was he fine), but he was way too clingy, an emotional train wreck, and had an abysmal sense of humor.

Okay, that was a weird time and place to dump my pent-up feelings.  Better out than in, I guess.
