Oh, really? I was positive that it was in that particular conversation, but it's possible that I just made a mistake. I'll just have to see for myself, then!

And oh, poor Garrus. Why are you so good at ripping my heart out?

While this thread heavily debates whether or not Garrus should be available for same-sex romance in ME3, consider the following comments BioWare has released:

1. No new romance partners will be available in Mass Effect 3.
2. Same-sex romance options for male Shepard will be available in Mass Effect 3.

Conclusion: If 1 and 2 are both true, then there will only be four males that BioWare could make into potential same-sex romance options, and only one of them was present in both Mass Effect 1 and 2 as a permanent squad-mate.

His name is Garrus.

It's dangerous to make assumptions, but from what information we have, it is extremely plausible that Mister Shepard will be able to get "jiggy" with Mister Vakarian.

PS:  Keep in mind, while Garrus admits to a sexual encounter with a female in the past, it was only once, and it wasn't a permanent relationship of any kind, he even said that he did it to blow off steam.  Thus, the encounter was primarily insignificant to him.
PSS:  Even if they do decide to include new potential romance partners in ME3, the only one that would make sense is James Vega, and it doesn't exclude Garrus's significant relationship to Shepard... he'll have been a permanent squad-mate in all 3 games, and the only male character to have that role.  (The only other character to have been a permanent squad-mate in all 3 games is Tali'Zorah.)  In short, Vakarian and Shepard have a long history together.

Arcian to the rescue.

There is no video or walkthrough. A russian guy ripped the leaked beta data and used a TLK explorer to access the otherwise incomprehensible information hidden in the beta's TLK files, like the ones in ME2 which Didymos has been going through to discover cut content and old stuff that didn't make it into the final game.

Among information about weapons, skills and some multiplayer stuff was a crapton of information about story events, side missions and story dialogue - a rough script, basically.

The problem (or saving grace, perhaps) is that the beta build is very old, meaning the stuff in the TLK files are unlikely to be accurate at this time, if the stuff found in ME2's TLK files are anything to go by. Not only that, some of the stuff in the TLK files are contradicted by the stuff we've seen in the gameplay videos, and other stuff simply contradicts itself within the script. I've read it (sincerely sorry, BioWare, I couldn't help myself - I cannot resist spoilers), and it's a goddamn mess. I use the word "rough", but that doesn't even begin to accurately describe the disorganisation that is present in the script.

So while some of the stuff is bound to come true, the rest is likely to have changed during the development cycle.

Heh heh, that'd be cute, can't see it happening, but It'd be cool all the same.

Maybe Joker has big strong arms to hold shepard with after spending all that time wanking to asari BDSM porn...

Actually, I wouldn't be too concerned.

With this leak, trolling is going to go up by 600%; for a good while at least, I wouldn't take anything ANYONE says as true.


One of the fan groups on Deviant Art posted a whole slew of troll spoilers on LJ complete with troll face and people believed them...
They even said they made them up, 'only way to wave the galaxy is to have a half-reaper baby with Liara!' (LOL, glad it's not true my main Shep doesn't like Asari and wouldn't be happy about that)

General Partinax. Read the Cerberus Daily News on the Mass Effect Wiki. He's a massive badass.

I'm not 100% sure, but there are repeated references to a turian general in the mined text. And he's pretty bamf, so, it's gotta be him.

Unless it's a new general, but why bother with the CDN if they weren't gonna use it?

Or maybe Septimus came out of retirement.
