something just enough spoilery to pique my interest about Garrus role regarding the Turians but not too spoilery as to ruin the thing
Thanks m'am
Now im really excited about whats to come for our favorite Turians. I was afraid at the end of ME2 if Garrus role with the Turians with the big war coming would make a lot of sense and now it seems pretty logical so i can sleep easy... for the next 4 months.

I know I'm not the only user who feels this way, as a many of the dedicated Turian thread participants have been showing up less and less.
Honestly, I will never get the entitlement issues gamers have as a whole. To complain, complain, complain and complain more about such things as a simple Co-Op feature, a beta that was months old and not meant for public eyes and even something as insignificant as the model of Femshep. Then what do they go and do? Oh, just spoil the story for everyone else. If there is a stronger case of hypocrisy out there please feel free to share, because at this point the hypocrisy scale if compared and contrasted with the Torino Impact scale would be a ****ing eleven and it only goes up to ten.
Actually, I'm making my own scale called the "Unwarranted Gamer Entitlement" scale. It is as followed. In the segmented levels loosely based on the Torino scale.
1) The likelihood of an Unwarranted Entitlement Gamer causing an outcry of game spoilers and or nerd rage is zero, or is so low as to be effectively zero. Also applies to small outbursts such as pity parties and baseless complaining in the atmosphere of a thread as well as infrequent trolling that rarely cause damage.
2) A close encounter of an Unwarranted Entitlement Gamer causing an outcry of game spoilers and or nerd rage. Meriting attention by moderators. Current calculations give a 1% or greater chance of trolling, spoilers or baseless complaining causing regional thread devastation. Most likely, new telescopic observations will lead to re-assignment to Level 0. Attention by public and by public BSN users is merited if the encounter is less than a page away.
3) A very close encounter by an Unwarranted Entitlement Gamer causing an outcry of game spoilers and or nerd rage. Unprecedented but still uncertain threat of a thread wide catastrophe. For such a threat at BSN, international contingency planning is warranted, especially to determine urgently and conclusively whether or the Unwarranted Entitlement Gamer causing an outcry of game spoilers and or nerd rage is actually as devastating as stated.
4) An encounter by an Unwarranted Entitlement Gamer causing an outcry of game spoilers and or nerd rage is certain. Capable of causing localized destruction for trolling and or spoilers over a large area of the thread or possibly massive troll or spoiler. Such events occur on average between once per 20 pages and once per several 10 threads.
5 ) An encounter by an Unwarranted Entitlement Gamer causing an outcry of game spoilers and or nerd rage has just occurred and ruined the upcoming game for most users of a thread. Cause can be either trolling, unwarranted/baseless complaining of a spoiler based feature or the way the story is progressing. By effectively being an imbecile he or she has made everyone is the thread's IQ drop significantly and those who were trying to stay spoiler free are now spoiled. Damage control should be as followed in a level 5 scenario. Moderators should ban the offender, thread should be locked or re-created and casualties accounted for.

Ok, we absolutely need a non-spoiler thread regarding Garrus/Turians. It's very off-putting to come in this thread and have to watch what I read, some points having to skip entire pages because I don't know which user feels obligated to shout at the top of his/her lungs a potentially story crushing spoiler.

...excuse me. I understood your concerns before, and I was even ready to be accomodating, but now you're being rude and just a little bit hypocritical.
Do you see the OP? The very first thing it says is "Mass Effect 3: Spoilers ahead". Then it gives a link to the already-existing non-spoiler thread, which itself states that discussion of non-spoilery ME3 stuff is entirely permitted.
This thread is being used as advertised. If you want to avoid spoilers, use the non-spoiler thread.

Anyway, aside from that I would respectfuly say that ANY spoilers should be located in a singular thread, not the marrid of thread located in the Mass Effect 3 forum. If I go into any given thread, I can expect a spoiler fourty to fifty percent of the time. Or a cute little pause or line space, then the afermentioned spoiler. Spoilers are dmaging to the game experience and as such should be only visible in a SINGULAR thread. You do NOT want nor is it cordial to have spoilers throughout the Mass Effect 3 forum.
As for your statement that this thread contains spoilers and this should be treated as a spoiler specific thread. Let me just assert that the thread was originally for discussing the fandom surrounding Garrus/Turians, NOT the spoilers surrounding Mass Effect 3. I could go back five or six pages and find spoilers in this very thread pertaining to niether Garrus nor Turians. By pure means of logic this thread should have stayed where the OP intended and not gone off on a spoiler tangent.
And I believe you are slightly misunderstanding the definition of "Hypocrisy." Complaining about something that has base or merit and can be potentially damaging to the gameplay experience is far different from just utright complaining about things we as of now know very little about. (IE story/Co-Op implementation) Also note I said we needed a NEW thread for this without the spoilers, as you suggested. Being that there is none.

The hypocrisy thing was aimed more at your accusations of entitlement and then going on and making that list; and then, not so much its content as its tone. I'd rather not argue about this, though, so I'll just say you're right if that's what it takes.
As for this thread's intent, I agree that spoilers should be kept Garrus/Turian-specific. From your earlier post I'd gathered that you meant no spoilers whatsoever aside from official releases; if I misread that, poo-poo on me. But it seems to me at least that the ME3 forums have been "repurposed", as it were, since the leak. It's not that I don't agree with you when you say that people suck at hiding their spoilers, but at this point in time, there's not much that can be done other than complain about it. Or ban non-official spoilers from the forums completely, but who knows if THAT is ever gonna happen.
Makes me wish we had some nicer forum tools, though. Click-to-reveal spoiler tags would be pretty ace right about now.

See, this is the kind of level headed user that makes me proud to be of the speices ****** Sapien! And yes Cheez, thank you for being very frugal with your spoilers. It makes the people who venture into this thread a lot more laid back.
Also, I am totally using that scale in every other thread as of right now. It's just, brilliance on my end. */ ego*

And boohoo about the spoilers. This is a forum about the whole game. By default is known that there'll be people posting whatever they know about the game.
If any of you didn't wanted them then you should like stay away from it until me3 is out and stop bertching about it and changing topic all the time. Not trying to sound bad but you can't blame anyone doing that in here.
We wouldn't have anything new to talk about if it wasn't for them. WOHOHO!

How do people feel about Garrus and Tali apparently hooking up if you don't pursue one of them? I think the dialogue's cute, and I'm definitely going out of my way to find those scenes on my MShep run, but it is a little surprising that Bioware would go with this. I'd have figured Tali would wind up with Kal'Reegar and Garrus would stay flying solo.

So... there is one aspect of Garrus' role from the leaked script that I'm curious about people's opinions on. Spoilers, of course - not plot-essential, but probably something you'd want to see for yourself.

Try "think one of my mandibles got hooked on her helmet" or "as long as you're here", though that latter conversation is a little more spoilery.
