I really hope we will be able to see what happened to that quarian and turian may-be-couple we met at Illium. I felt sorry for the guy; he tried so hard to send subtle and not-so-subtle hints at the quarian lady. <3

Me neither. I don't like it, but it doesn't bother me all that much. It's not like it's ever going to happen in my games anyway cos I compulsively romance Garrus with my Sheps. But it does seem a bit...weird to me.

Assuming I know what you're all talking about, same here. It'll hardly be in any of my games, but I still think it's a little strange. On both sides.

Yeah. My main problem with it is that I just never got that kind of vibe from either of them. I thought they had a different sort of relationship than that.

And for spoiler things:  I actually really love the idea of Garrus/Tali. I don't think it ruins anyone's shipping, at least for Garrus/Tali romancers. All it does is ensure that the characters aren't left adrift should they not be Shepard's LI, or what have you. For people who are Liara romancers, ect, it'll give a really nice conclusion to their characters without needing to be their love interests.

For people who are Garrus/Tali romancers, I don't know why anyone would feel threatened? The opperative word in [most] Garrus/Tali/Shepard dealings is strong friendship. I don't see Garrus getting jealous of Manshep, or Tali getting jealous of Femshep. It wouldn't have crossed their minds in that scenario. Shepard is STILL very important in their lives regardless of whether or not they're with them or not. 

And in the situation of one of them being with Shepard, Tali could still go home and end up quite happily with Kal'Reegar or another quarian, and Garrus could end up with some turian lass. While it might be a romantic ideal, most people are not single-target bombs towards one other person. It is totally reasonable to think that Garrus could be just as happy with Shepard, with Tali, or with some other lady in the situation that Manshep has romanced Tali.

That said, I find it hilarious that Garrus basically makes out like a bandit. He either ends up with the savior of the galaxy or quarian princess.

Just my thoughts on the spoilery things.

I actually agree with most of what you've said. I want Garrus to be happy with or without Shep - it would be very very strange if his happiness was presented as being dependent on one person. But I just never imagined that those two characters might get it together. Having said that, it's possible I'll get used to the idea eventually. Right now it still seems a bit random and strange!

 From what I read (posted a few pages ago on this tread) theres is a lot of room for interpretation in the dialogue between those 2 characters.

I personally found it could be jsut as  sisterly/brotherly then romantic. We will have to wait and see if it only triggers with unromanced characters. People can have feeling for each other that are just respect and care. Those 2 jsut beeing very fond of each other makes more sense to me. Its not that they shouldnt have a love life.  I jsut love histories with strong friendships (many of my FemShep dont romance Garrus but still trust him more then anyone by the end of ME2).

I have nothing against it but at least at first it seems quite weird as I didn't get any hints of it in the previous games. I never even thought of that possibility. I just have to wait and see how it's done in the game.
