I like where this is going...
makes some sense with what Garrus says to Sheploo about his scar when he first gets in the normandy. The 'now you will finally get your turn with the ladies' bit.

I still prefer the brother-sister vibe from ME2 but thats really just for those 2 characters. Its not that they shouldnt go down that route, jsut that they already have a pretty awsome dynamic. If they leave some place for interpretation in the final version (like most of the spoiler convos i read)  ill be pretty satisfied.

What's intriguing is that Garrus' line to ManShep there is even gender neutral, "Everyone was always hitting on me and ignoring you..." I assume they wrote it that way to not canonically straightify ManShep (at least in Garrus' eyes) but it doesn't put any limits on Garrus either...

Kind of depends on the person who have the scars you know. Take for example a badass and pretty turian gal, she would become even more attractive with a few stylish scars. I guess part of my mind is rather krogan like.

I personally found it could be jsut as  sisterly/brotherly then romantic. We will have to wait and see if it only triggers with unromanced characters. People can have feeling for each other that are just respect and care. Those 2 jsut beeing very fond of each other makes more sense to me. Its not that they shouldnt have a love life.  I jsut love histories with strong friendships (many of my FemShep dont romance Garrus but still trust him more then anyone by the end of ME2).

Yeah, that's how it felt to me too.  That's why it feels kind of weird that bioware would actually go that route.  I mean...  if there's anyone I'd like Garrus to be with besides Femshep it would probably be Tali because I love her to bits and I think she's cute with him.  However, I definitely prefer them in the whole playful brother-sister relationship than in a romance.  I always prefered Tali with Kal'Reegar to tell the truth

I'm not adverse to Garrus being in a relationship with someone other than Femshep, but I always thought he'd end up with a sexy turian lady (or guy hehe).  I never thought he'd go for someone besides Femshep who was of another species.  That's the reason why a Tali/Garrus romance makes me a little sad.  When Garrus tells Femshep that he's never considered interspecies intercourse before, but he wants to try it with her because it's HER, I thought that was one of the most special moments of the romance.  Of course, Tali seems the closest to him after Femshep so I guess it's understandable that he could get over the interspecies barrier with her too...but still, I just feel a little weird about it  If Garrus had never said anything to Femshep about that, then I'd be more on board with it.  Just my opinion though!

So do you guys think Tali/Garrus will occur only if they've never been romanced or also if they've been romanced and then dumped?

Well, the game isn't even out yet so maybe I will change my mind when I see it!  It might be cuteness overload!!!
