Speaking of sexy turians, do we have any word on Lorik Qui'in ATM?

I would love to have him back, hell, he would be a great narrator for ME3 IMHO.

I have trouble picturing Shepard bumping into him again in ME3. As mentioned in another thread, the constant stream of cameos in ME2 made the universe feel pretty small. I don't want that to happen again. Messages are cool, though.

You have a good point there Xannerz, as much as I would like to see Lorik again, I can definitely agree with that. Cameos are great for fanservice (and can be a nice throwback), but I see where you are coming from.

I guess a girl can dream, right?

Gotta admit, though, I'm kinda hoping to see Sidonis again -- and not because I like him, lol I don't. If you let him live, he indirectly tells Garrus he'll "make it up to you somehow." In my mind, I imagine him sacrificing himself while helping Shepard. Maybe it's by fighting off a group of Husks while the Commander & Company struggle through the Citadel, IDK. Nice road to redemption there, maybe? Premature headcanons, hehehe.

Yeah, in my head cannon it goes something like this: some plot element is about to kill Garrus off (Reaper, etc.) and if, in ME2, you had Garrus spare Sidonis, somehow, he will come in and take Garrus's place. Ergo, our boy's life is saved by the one he spared out of mercy. I know, I know it's kinda cliche/archetypal, but I think it would be a "comes full circle" type thing. Of course, my pure Renegade-y Shep would be pissed, but it would still be her fault nonetheless.

Rannin, that's an interesting take on it. If we don't hear anything about Sidonis in ME3 (even if it's just a message from him), I will be disappointed.

Thanks Xannerz! I love you guys here in the Garrus/Turian thread, we're all so nice to each other. I know it's been months since I've posted on here (or even be able to participate in the Skype group for that matter- :-( ), and it's nice to see things haven't changed :-D.
EDIT: It's nice to know that the niceness hasn't changed.  I reread that, and I didn't make sense to myself.

Yeah, I would be really disappointed if Sidonis didn't even show up or send a message. They made it sound like such foreshadowing with his "make it up to you somehow" comment.

On another note, I hope we get to meet Garrus' family. Considering Palaven's condition in ME3, I dunno how that'll work out, but still.

There is a Skype group chat, it hasn't been active recently, but with the pending release of ME3 it should start to pick up. I know there are some members of the Skype chat that don't want to be spoilt so they are probably avoiding it on the offset that a spoiler gets dropped. 

I know how they feel; I WAS that way until I "happened upon" the "leaked" script.
TBH, though, it probably was a good thing for me, after the MP reveal I was feeling very ennui about ME3. Now, after the "leak" I am more excited than ever. Hell, the "leak" was what convinced me to preorder the CE Edition. I feel like the “leak” had the exact opposite effect on me, unlike a lot of forumites. I get the impression after reading many posts that people weren’t too happy with what they read. I dunno, maybe I am an outlier.

And, yes OMG, I LOVE fanart. I have 2 DeviantArt searches that are part of my daily routine. One is for “Garrus”, the other is for “Mass Effect.” I always organize it by “Newest First,” because I have seen every single image prior to that. Does that make me obsessed? Maybe...probably. Does that make me a devoted Garrus fangirl? Survey says: indubitably, incontrovertibly hell yes.

EDIT: Oopsies, I forgot to address the last part of your post about fanart ideas, my bad.  A comic about meeting Garrus's family/dad would be funny and cool.

That would be sweet!!  Though, there is a "fly in the lotion" about meeting him again: I wonder if he'll be mad at me for making him testify against Anoleis? 

Those are some nice screenies up there.  I play my game on Xbox 360 so I can't do screenies, but I'll tell you one thing:  Garrgarr is hott on a 40'' Sharp Aquos Quattron

And seeing how others draw Garrus helped me big time. @_@ The face of a turian is such a pain to draw, considering all those lines and the daunting matter of symmetry.

Xannerz, at least you can draw. I have no skill when it comes to art. My drawings look like an epileptic is having a seizure whilst trying to hold the pencil.

I always do my daily search right before going to bed, lol. A little Garrus before bed makes a Stacy (my irl name. It's common enough, I ain't worried) a happy lady.
