See this is the danger of having kinect voice recognition..Garrus would get so confused with us yelling at him. And yet.. I can totally see proximity mines being the bane of our existance. Let us hope the AI in ME3 is a lot smarter than ME1 or ME2.

(Holy monkey! Wall of text incoming! I'm so sorry! Just summing up my thoughts here...)
There are two major reasons I don't read fanfics. The few I've read, the characters have always been heavily OOC. And I'm never fully satisfied. I ship alot. Mostly the most realistic couple, but as long scenes aren't written by the original author, I'm not convinced it could ever happen.

I liked the start of the NSFW, but I also kinda felt that Garrus was slightly out of character, by the end of it, entirely out of character. On a side note, if I can't read the thoughts or dialogue with the character's voices, then I'm not convinced they would ever say it.

Well, I'm not awfully good at being subtle , and you knew I had drawn that team dextro picture, and the way Platform_Error explained made it clear those events really could happen. The pictures hit me like a truck.
Garrus should be so hardened by now, that not even Reapers would be able to kill him.

Oh god, so glad to see there are other Garrus/FemShep fans who don't like the bitey scratchy angersex, especially the fics that turn into what I'd call rape or attempted rape and aren't labeled non-con or dub-con. THANK YOU, I was beginning to think I was the only one!

My Garrus is a gentleman to Shepard and knows that No means No, and knows that "I thought we talked about doing this later, I'm not sure" also means No and not "NUH UH we're having sex NOW because I INSIST!" Well, still plenty of fics out there that aren't that.

Also, lol at Garrus not taking cover. I just heave a sigh whenever he stands on top of a crate, gets blasted, and then takes a nap.

^^ I am also not a lover of the angst ridden fics! Have to say that in my head cannon Garrus is a complete gentleman and very tender :-)

I have just finished ME1 again, with NO romance - my fenshep is saving herself for Garrus, guess I got a bit panicky over the idea Kaiden would come and make trouble for us - so she was calebate :-D.

Going back to the first page - I am soo hoping that the Garrus/femshep relationship carries on in to ME3 and I dont have to romance him from scratch again - would love to see it develop :-)

Weird enough, I have never experience him running out of cover. Either he doesn't do it with me, or he dies before I notice. Instead of running out of cover, he has a tendency to just stand there and shoot, though. Then again, I'm always shoving him in the back of the fighting area so that he can just snipe them all.

Biting? Ick. Near-rape and nasty stuff? Double Ick.

If Garrus tried to bite femshep, she'd say, "What the hell?!" and shoot him in the knee. It just seems like biting would be out of character for the guy.

Gentleman is a good word to describe how I see Garrus. I mean, he wears a monocle!

I didn't notice Garrus moving out of cover at all when I first played, but he was doing it a lot on my last PT. Maybe he wanted to be like my Vanguard, who had no respect whatsoever for cover as she shot herself at the enemy like a biotic bullet. She isn't a great leader by example.

He'd better step up his game in ME3. He's going to have to keep up with not one, but two deadly Spectre ladies.

To be honest I always saw the Garrus rough sex thing in fanfiction as people projecting their own desires onto Garrus, rather then taking into account that hmm, may not be in character for Garrus to be abusive.

theres strong female energy in garrus' life. im nott sure he'd be the abusive boyfriend type either.
i think its more poor writing experience and fanfics writers falling back to cliches when they cant come up with anythiing if the fanfics r what they r.
this was sort of one of very few mass effect fics ive read and it was ok. i mean, not mediocre but just ok.

And yes - Garrus is always going to be a gentleman! ALL signs point to him being one! He always chats with Shep, giving her respectable space - never wanting to go over personal boundaries. He respects the hell out of her. He even admits to it. Always having her back when she needs someone - never really pushing. And He loves classy things! Plus in the Reaper base demo - When he hit the merc from behind, he left Liara finish him off. THATS a gentleman XDDDD He gets so many kills on his own, he doesnt mind sharing

the friendship fanfics are usually more into character.
Also, i think Garrus being clearly the gentleman type in ME1-2 makes it easy to intentially push his character on the opposite side in FFs. I believe many writers want to show 'a side of Garrus we dont usually see' and endup pushing it a bit far.

Speaking of that DBZ meme - I and a friend made up a pun referring to the romance scene.

Ah yes - I see plently more moments like that ^____^ MORE Team takedowns! Its been said the characters will interact with each other both on the normandy and off it.  I hope thats a tease to see more moments of pure awesome teamwork.
