It would have been SO awesome for so many reasons. First your LI would have worn formal wear too (garrus in a tux
) second it would have been comedic gold in the banter department . Comments about eachother's attire , "pretending" to be a couple to the rest of the guests, garrus having a gunfight in a fancy place finally. I felt that mission missed an opportunity there.
Yeah, I was also expecting something similar, even if a part of me knew that it wouldn't be that awesome.

It was confirmed by a developer on Twitter. May have been Mac Walters.Liec wrote...
Where was it confirmed that there's 6/7 months between the SM and Arrival? The time between them seemed really ambiguous to me, especially because you can do Arrival before the SM, even if it doesn't make much sense.

ok regarding the Relationship with Garrus, Am I the only one who thinks its a little odd that after the suicide mission, Their is like a 6 or 7 month time gap? I mean if Shepards being held in space jail/prison for so long, How would Garrus know if their was still a relationship, or if Shepard was still intrested in him? Would they even let Shepard try to contact Garrus/anyone after the events of Arrival DLC?
During those 2 months, Garrus leaves the Normandy to s-err, do some stuff. And no, Shepard is not allowed to talk to his squadmates while in custody on Earth. He is completely isolated, and only Anderson, Vega and the Alliance brass has access to him.
I have faith in Liara!
I mean there must be a way of abusing her Shadow Broker "talents" for Shepards private interests...
I´d make sure she keeps Garrus updated

I see Garrus staying in touch with Tali and Liara. also he would take calls from th rest of the ME2 team but I dotn see him actively callingthem to see how they are doing. Maybe contact Jacob or Miranda to see if they learned something about Shep because they are human. Or Emily Wong from the citadel (a journalist might know more then ex Cerberus agents)

It will be nice to see which sqaddy keeps in touch with the others while Shep is in prison. I mean she's not dead this time so they dont have to all go home and pretend they never met.

I really like this! I'm sure there will be more effort from squaddies to keep the gang together and organised this time. I can also see Liara forwarding info to shep and the others too.

Well, they all know what is coming this time, so they certainly have good motivation for staying in touch whilst they prepare for the last stand of the entire galaxy.

And Hyrule that would be an amazing idea! If you could come along with 'Mr.Gunn.' It would be a very apt name for Mr. Vakarian now wouldn't it?

I also think Garrus may stay in contact with Wrex as well. He seems impressed by the reforms Wrex is wanting to push.

Guest: A turian and human couple! You don’t see that everyday, how did you two meet?
Shepard: I had to deal with some thugs at a med clinic and when I had their leader at gunpoint Mr.Gunn here took my shot
Garrus: Well maybe Ms.Gunn was taking too long
Shepard: And maybe Ms.Gunn doesn’t like to go running in guns blazing like some space cowboy
Garrus: She says this now but she was impressed with that headshot, she’s been hopelessly in love ever since
Guest: That’s...so sweet...*I think*
Shepard: (Gives Garrus a look)
Guest: Well, enjoy the party! (hurries away)
Shepard: “hopelessly in love?”
Garrus: Well it was a good shot

I always seen Saren as playing the grand piano (something dramatic from the 20's) but it could be anything else less complicated !

playing as Saren model has actually been useful for me in learning Turian emotions and such, which will help in my fanfic I'm writing. All I'll say is Saren & Sovereign are still around, despite following the first two games, maybe some slight differences... Not much...
Uhh, you know know you're not actually playing as Saren right? They're shepard's emotions, how exactly does having Saren's skin give you an insight into Saren's mind? Let alone the mind's of turians as a whole...
I can dress dress up as a raccoon, but I don't exactly think I'll learn anything about raccoons by doing so...
I think Pyn means the commands to the model in the dialogue/cutscenes remain, so if Shepard's model is supposed to "smile," Saren's model does the predetermined Turian equivalent. Someone played ME2 with Garrus as Shepard and there was a pic of Garrus during one of the romance scenes trying to do either "sexy half-smile" or "rapeface" (I can't remember) but it was truly hideous. *shudder* So, if you know what Shepard was supposed to be doing in that scene you can see what the Turian equivalent is.
Was the hideous Garrus smile the one featured in that demotivational pic about stuffing bodies into carpets?

I think I'm going to retreat back to here & Clan V and avoid the rest of the forums. All the vitriolic Tali-hate going on in the main forums is doing my head in. I'm hoping they don't turn their attention to the other half of Team Dextro![]()
Why are people hating on Tali? People who romanced a ME2 squaddie who feel hard done by or some other ridiculous reason?

One thing that still bugs me is that Shepard has to be the one to start the relationship. I feel kind of bad for jumping on him all cougar-like! I think if there had been some acknowledgment prior to the reach and flexibility conversation, or even during it, that Garrus was attracted to Shepard it would've felt less...pushy!
Did any of the romance options in the second game show an interest in Shepard without Shep initiating? I've only romanced Garrus so far and I'm not particularly interested in starting a MShep run to explore his romances.
I was talking to someone at a convention and he said Grunt hit on Shepard during his FShep run through, this is the first I've heard of anything in game that implied Grunt might be interested in FShep and I'm a krogan fangirl so I'm wondering if he's just putting his own spin on some of Grunt's dialogue, he said it didn't happen during his MShep run through. Does FShep get Grunt dialogue that MShep doesnt?
http://social.biowar...362/polls/3023/ - Some did a poll of the FemShep romances broken down by player gender, look who's in the lead for both male and female gamers...

I would have so brought Garrus along with me, of course in my second playthrough I'd bring Grunt along instead for the lulz and then Zaaed

Imagine if you had to go through all the LIs trying to get with your Shep and shut them down one by one....
I think im fine with player initiated romances. It keeps ninjamances at bay. And it means s/s can be availible in ME3 without people getting crazy on the forum.

This, big time.
Although I understand the disgruntlement that arrives about the fact that it has to be Shepard which initiates the romance, story-wise, I think that it is a feature that just has to exist. I never accidentally romanced Zevran or Leliana, (Alistair was the only guy for me, lolz) but from the many stories I've heard, it was rediculously easy to mistakenly flirt with them.
I found the same to be true with Jacob. I honestly really do like Jacob, but I found myself practically tiptoeing around the wheel to make sure that FemShep's voice did not come out sexy and flirtatious when I was just trying to be polite. <_< And I knew when I was wrong too, Jeezz, it felt like I was playing La Noire all over again .
So would there be a way for certain companions to hit on the commander? I suppose it could be implimented, but I fear that, as outmame writes, the fallout from the community would be tremendous. At least for this, it is safer for the control to be in Shepard's hands.
But I think that in ME3, Garrus will definately be more vocal in his feelings, as well as in his role in his relationship with Shepard. Just a feeling...:innocent:
