Garrus-poster in message above: They dig them on Garrus.

I agree with Outmane, Garrus has a tendency to just bottle up all his problems and worries and with all he's been through I'm amazed he hasn't broken down yet (at least not visible, it wouldn't surprise me if he's an emotionel wreck on the inside).

I could imagine he sees Shepard as a sort of "anchor in a storm" as the only friend he has in the Galaxy. If they are in a romantic relationship I agree with Liara and Shepard can "give him some peace" but even if Shepard broke up with him she's still his friend and cares for him. He would be hurt but at least Shepard still got his back. If she betrayed him instead..I'm thinking that would push him over the edge, and I don't even want to imagine what would happen.

Not that I would ever make my Shepard either break up with him or betray him, not even for science (I'm not even able to pick a different LI for mu FemShep for science :P)

Poor Garrus. Reading his LotSB stuff still and the guy has it tough. Plus to see him sort of interact with Family. Also I think it kinda cute that after his LM he is all "I don't want to talk about it" To which Shep immediatly starts to talk about it, and he just spills. And the emotions.

How do I get the "It's just us" scene that someone mentioned.

@ Dirsta. Lol he and Doc sit around drinking and talking about Shepard, their immovable centre. There may be emotions, Garrus may tear up. Posted Image Calibrating my ass, he's hungover.Posted Image

His LotSB files made me feel so sorry for him. He really has the worst luck in the entire Galaxy. I wish for a "hug-Garrus" interrupt in ME3. At least they gave us one for Tali in ME2.

and it isn't an interrupt but we can hug Liara in LotSB. It's nice to see ME move away from is violent only interrupts. Though I vote nay on getting rid of the punch interrupts. He really does have the worst luck though. That guy needs squishy human snuggles.

Haven't played LotSB yet since it won't install because I need to "install Mass Effect 2" <_<
I agree it wouldn't be the same if we weren't able to punch/shoot-interrupt people. He could get some snuggles after the headbump-scene. It was nice but I would rather have a hug-option in the story, just for Garrus, and not a "LI-snuggle-option". ^_^

Same. I am pretty excited to pull this romance through to LotSB. I mean Thanes stuff was just so kick ass, Garrus' might change a bit and be awesome too. (Romance wise. The friend stuff is awesome. I hope you get to play it soon cause the dossiers at the end on all the characters, it made me love them even more.) I wish he would open up and talk to me about his life, just stop calibrating for two seconds. He just acts so happy-go-lucky all the time and he has such turmoil and strife. My poor Gare bear.

He'll probably never stop calibrating. I suspect GarrusxCalibrations are the OTP of Mass Effect if Femshep doesn't romance him. xD

Maybe in the Turian language Calibrating is actually a word for many things so everytime he says he is calibratinf we can assume he is playing chess, making a holopic book, knitting. He seems like the knitting type. :P

Permission to take your goddamit Anders gif dirtsa90 please?

Also, I wonder what the turian language sounds like... I can't see them sounding like velosiraptors (has probably spelt that drastically wrong.)

I think I'm going to retreat back to here & Clan V and avoid the rest of the forums. All the vitriolic Tali-hate going on in the main forums is doing my head in. I'm hoping they don't turn their attention to the other half of Team Dextro :pinched:

Why are people hating on Tali? People who romanced a ME2 squaddie who feel hard done by or some other ridiculous reason?

Yup pretty much. Seems to be a lot of Miranda-mancers on the offensive :pinched: Every Miranda thread seems to become a Tali hate thread. Can't we all just get along ?:crying:

I thought the main people didn't like characters like Tali or Liara was because they think that a lot of their content is merely fan-service, in some respects their right, but even still, miranda romancers rallying against Tali?!

Oh the Irony...

Saddening, but human nature for those that feel that they've been wronged to lash out at those that they feel are more fortunate than themselves, regardless of an actual connection to blame.

Hey, I think you just described the "Occupy" movement in a nutshell!

Oh my goodness, really? Your missing the point of the movement entirely... And even at that, of all the people to take sympathy on...

"But who ever will think of the poor downtrodden Wall Street bankers with their many houses and millions of dollars to throw around?!"

You know who would be perfect as world leader/president?

Chellick. Plus we could all tune into to his fireside addresses and listen to that sexy voice. Everyone wins!

See, this is why Garrus needs to have a good cry in Mass Effct 3. I was waiting for it in ME2 but he just become even more emotionally constipated.

That's why, I support giving Garrus an emotional enema in Mass Effect 3!

I can't be bothered with Greek terminology, which is why I just blurt out the first thing that comes to mind. Plus we all know Garrus needs one. :wizard:

Dear God no, you reminded me of Jokers line with "that stick up his..." and my mind just went somewhere horrible:crying: (don't worry I'll be fine ;))
But I also support giving Garrus a good cry, then Femshep really needs to give him a hug.

Wow...

Yeah, there's potential in ME3 for things to go terribly. If you break up with him at the point where it'd hurt the hardest (Paragon: "Yes, I WILL have all your mutant babies!" - Renegade: "LOL i was trolin you the whol time gtfo") he should get upset. And if you betray him badly enough to doom his entire species, he should have some sort of breakdown or freakout that ends very badly - like a sobbing/vomiting/suicide-by-Shepard package deal.

Man, thinking that out makes me go :(

If something that isn't my fault makes him cry, I guess I'll try to fix it with lovemaking and booze.

I thought I'd pop in to say that even though my Shepard isn't a touchy-feely person who takes none of the hug interrupts (she was tempted to hug Tali, but it was still a little too weird for her) she'd totally ignore that long enough to give Garrus a hug... then, right after,  I'd imagine they'd both be  "Yeah, that was awkward' then joke about it. Of course, in my crazy head canon I like to pretend that because they're such close friends that rumors start that  they are romantically involved (they're not) and they like to egg the rumors on for fun.

No, I didn't mean that to be a spoiler, is there something like that in the script? (nobody say it if there is)

Ehhh, in case there is maybe something like that, I'll go back and take that out.

I so hope Joker has stuff to say about our relationships.

edit:

"What? Joker is talking about stuff in my butt??"

Also, Hyrule: yeah, I've been avoiding most spoilers, but now I'm afraid just to speculate or joke in case I say something that's coincidentally, accidentally a spoiler!  Aaggh, that script leak was ruinous!
