I will confess that I think part of the reason I love Femshep/Garrus so much is because I love Briareos/Duenan. They have a very comparable relationship, and even the designs of the characters are similar. [in a way.]

Although I'm sort of on the fence about the movies. I know the new one is supposed to follow the comics better, but I haven't sat down to really watch.

*high five* I LOVE this pairing too but for me it's because I was introduced to the appleseed series after mass effect and couldn’t believe how similar they were to femshep and garrus.  Ex Machina is my favourite appleseed movie because it was just so badass (especially that gun fight in the church!) and of course it’s just amazing for that hug alone . Like I said, if we get a hug like that one in ME3 I will be SO HAPPY. I secretly hoped if I posted it enough times someone from bioware would see it

It IS possible to get the [as u put] "Really good" ending w/o playing the MP. BUT they did say that everything you do in the MP factors into the single player and increases chances of shep in the war, and even possibly gives an alternate ending [REALLY REALLY GOOD ending? lol]. I was always planning on doing it. The completionist in me tells me to do so. Plus, I actually would like to go nuts in MP with friends. Anyways, only thing I wont do is play the MP first. "Apparently" you can only play as a certain race once they have become ur allies in the SPcampaign. So my hopes to play as a turian have been delayed til then. Once I get an alliance with the turians, Im [reluctantly] putting the SP on hold and running off to MP. Once i finish that - than back into the SP i go!

2) Someone asked if we were going to start me3 with a loyal Garrusmance or a love triangle.
My answer: Loyal to Garrus for SURE! To be honest, I dont have any love triangles with Garrus. Ash is the VS in that career file. I did go back to ME1 in the summer and made one with Kaiden alive because Im interested in how he develops as a character [and what he'll say about the relationship XP]. But I have yet to even import it to ME2
Dont wry Kaiden, i'll let you throw a dagger to my heart on horizon like Ive let Ash do multiple times already.lol
Anyways, I could never romance him. I tried to once but i just got thru the 1st romance chat and turned back[Reloading is my friend]. I just dont LOVE him. I like him! He's a great character, but not the guy for me. Ive seen his character before. The average soldier, nice guy, handsome. Abit of a romantic. Tough time growing up. Blah blah - ive seen it in games before. So for me, when i meet him and got to know him - Im like "Oh.....you' re another one of those eh?"*yawn*.  Ive played HUNDREDS, thousands maybe, of games. Ive seen it before. Garrus - never seen a turian. INSTANT INTEREST! Plus something about that darn turian just draws me to him. Gotta be the voice LOL
I love the fact he actually develops with each installment of the series. Yes, I've seen very similar characters like Garrus in other games, but Garrus has that special spark that differentiates him from what I've seen.
As for this "triangle" - I've grown to care for Garrus SO MUCH [its scary i care so much for a vid game character] that I could just not let him go through something like that. 

1 - its cliche'. OH! BATTLE OF THE EX VS CURRENT BOYFRIEND! Bring out the YO Momma jokes and rap battles!XP .......actually wait, Id pay to see Garrus rap! 

 2 - I dont want Garrus to think he's like a last resort or rebound. Oh lookie, we wanted to be with Kaiden but he didnt return the same feeling. Garrus provides that comfort feeling, and we choose to be with him now. I dont want him to think that Shepard chose to be with him JUST BECAUSE Kaiden didnt take her back. What worries me is for someone who is in that triangle, that they choose Kaiden in the end......that would just.....*sigh*...utterly destroy Garrus. Right when he thinks something can go right for him and then it all comes crashing down around him. I bet he'd give up on trying to be happy after that. Sure, he'd probably shrug it off and say he'll still have her back. But seriously - its going to devastate him.

And 3 - Shepard has enough on her plate. I want her to have some happiness in those small moments she has to herself. With the galaxy at war, I dont she wants to deal with two men trying to win her heart, arguing with each other, etc. I want to see the relationship progress and it wont if Im in some triangle. The game is going to focus on "Garrus and Shepard AND Kaiden AND the drama". I dont want that. I want to focus on "Garrus and Shepard". PERIOD.

Now I love drama as much as the next fan and thats what youtube is for  I AM interested to see how Garrus handles the whole situation. This is obviously new territory for him. And seeing him get protective over his "mate" sounds very exciting. But yep - Imma watch it all on youtube XD

I totally want to try the multiplayer. I really do - but not on the Canon!Shep 1st playthrough. I'm just too silly concerning shooting skills and have actually no-one IRL to team up with. Specially considering my disabilities and my "how do I work this thing" moments.

And Arcana, I totally agree with you about the love triangle being somewhat "too much" for poor Garrus. He already has enough issues to deal with. Though, in another hand, he has grown a lot as a character and I'm hoping to see a "more assertive and sure of what he wants" Garrus in ME3, so it wouldn't surprise me to be shown that side of him, come the confrontation with thre previous LI happen.

Ironically I was joking with my boss this wk and we started talking about whats our most anticipated game for 2012 - obviously u all know what my answer was. I kid around saying "Oh by the way....I might get VERY sick the week of March 6 *sarcastically put hand on head like chking fever*....so....eh - i cant work." LOL He surprised me by saying he'd totally give me the week off to the play me3 XD Provided a catch - I work the midnight launch. And I totally agree on the last part. That ALWAYS happens in my house. Im really the only gamer in my household. My mother loves the team litho i got, but she called the archangel litho "ugly". My mom said I looked like the girl in my desktops wallpaper. Its a red-haired Shepard, looking like she came out of a fight with a thresher maw. Best compliment ever.

Also: Flatmate enters my room while I'm watching the headbump scene. I'm tearing down. She tears down too. We hug and say "Damn, we're just too nerdy." while sobbing. That and yelling from one room to the other things like "I just banged Kelly" which leads to usual insults back and forth about faithfulness. All friendly ofc .

So.....I made ANOTHER compare-contrast/before-after pic! XD LOL! I brought about the scar contrast and that evolution of garrus pic. Now....*drum roll* Garrus' Visor! [back view].


Notice the difference? It looks less.....permanent. As in "detachable" or easily removable....
Im sure everyone is getting at where Im hinting......

Could we finally see Garrus w/o his visor? Looks like a VERY possible maybe.
Cue that image I love so much! It was even on the last pg! [as well as a fav of tasha and obsy :3]

As for Appleseed Ex Machina, I have read the synposis, and put it on hold to watch tomorrow. I am very much looking forward to seeing thr similarities between Garrus and Shepard ;D

Im no genuis XP I just like to watch garrus CLOSELY XD I thank Legend of Zelda for training my observation skills when i was a child. "Zelda-trained eyes" FTW! :3

And YES! It is VERY teased at by a few on Twitter that Garrus will be in civvies while on the normandy. I asked about it and Im pretty sure i actually got a reply. I also know Karin Weekes [senior editor] indirectly said "He had his shirt on" when asked about shirtless XP And personally, I LOVEEEEEEEEEE the collar of that shirt he has. Looks like he has two on. It blue on top of the yellow one. I LOVE how the blue shirts' collar is a V neck or something. HAWT. I wanna see more! I swear, i better see that shirt[or him shirtLESS], or so help me i will rip off that armor ------*controls hormones*.....whew...alright. Im ok.XD

It's all comin together  also I had no IDEA they were hinting that garrus would be in his civvies on twitter! This just confirms it for me now hehe. And you're right, it appears that theres a shirt under a jacket under the armour (INCEPTION) which makes me think that although me might not get a shirtless garrus (I can still hope) maybe they'll compromise with a tank top number maybe? show off some bare arms at least?

Armour= Combat Garrus

Uniform= Normandy Garrus

Shirt= Sexy time garrus

I support the idea wholeheartedly! If the LI danced with shep in me1, why not bring that back in me3?

And nothing much! I saw the new footage and it was totally awesome on so many levels. Although it was short, it twas but sweet as well. And yes, I was looking at Garrus the entire time.
