I'm glad you guys liked that little dialogue I wrote!  It gives my Shepards an excuse to continue acting this way.

And I agree with Obsy, there can never be too much Saren. Those screenshots are so cool.

All right then. Because the movie "Being Garrus Vakarian" was mentioned...

Saren: What a wild night. I remember something about batarians and a prison... *rubs his head* Has anyone seen Carson?
TIM: He probably went somewhere dark to recover from that hangover.
Earthborn Ruthless: *falls out of an air vent and lands on the floor in front of Saren* x___x
Saren: How did you get up there? Did Garrus catch you sneaking around near the super-weapon?
Earthborn Ruthless: It... was... horrible. *twitch* The strangest thing happened, Saren. I crawled through this tiny little door, and I ended up inside Garrus' brain. There's just calibrations up there. Nothing but calibrations. The calibrations were everywhere!
Saren: Calm down, psycho. What happened next?
Earthborn Ruthless: Well, I tried to run, but I ended up in this room that was full of humans wearing Garrus heads in a diner. There were waiters, and a piano player, and more than one Garrus was wearing a dress. I saw a group of them eating dinner. And it wasn't even dextro!
Saren: Oh, that was the part that doesn't make sense to you? *looks at Garrus* What were you doing last night?
Garrus: None of that. >_>;
Earthborn Ruthless: So, I tried to start a conversation with them, yeah? Thought they might talk to me about something besides calibrations. But they only said "Vakarian." Over and over. All of them. Vakarian!
Saren: *tries not to laugh* And that's when you woke up?
Earthborn Ruthless: Huh? Oh, yeah. I guess it wasn't real after all. ^^; I wonder where the hell I was then...
Saren: One of your better dreams, Carson?
Earthborn Ruthless: Believe it or not, yeah.
TIM: Garrus, this could have all been prevented if you didn't spend so much time calibrating.
Garrus: You're blaming me for the things he dreams when he's drunk? Carson's messed up enough when he's sober!
TIM: I think every MaleShep in the alternate universes will back me up on this one, Garrus.

I finally am up to date with reading this thread ;D. About Garrus ME2 dialoge..
A few weeks ago I got my boyfriend into playing ME2 (he's totally in love with the game now, hell yeah!)

So I asked him to talk to Garrus after his loyalty quest. Ofcourse, I've heard the 'blowing off steam' convo way too many times, but it was just golden to see him Shep smirk after Garrus telling this story. Total bro-mance scene.

I also finished my "stay loyal to Garrus ME1&ME2 playthroughs ^^. (Yes, I played through both games with mostly the same moral choices just so I could have a playthrough without LI's besides Garrus, hehe). Now I'm working on a Renegade playthrough, but I don't think I'll be able to let Garrus take the shot :c.

@VioletDrops: I've just started a loyal Garrus playthrough as well. It's gonna be hard, staying away from Thane, but I'm gonna do it. I've heard rumors about there being perks for being loyal to Garrus, so even though I think It's something the rumor mill has spilt to keep itself entertained over the next two months, I'm gonna have one ready just in case.

@mythlover20 - I'm debating to do a Thane romancing playthrough, but I don't think he'll fit for my Renegade shep I'm playing now. She'll probably be loyal to Liara, and I'll see what I do after that ^^. I'm glad I've got a loyal shep ready for ME3, can't wait to see what happens with the relationships.

The main groups are Turians, Garrus-Fangirls and Archangel-Garrus (maybe ArchangelGarrus). I think there's a Garrus-Fans as well

I remember dressing up my squad (Tali and Garrus) in those orange outfits. That was probably even better than the pink one Garrus was wearing for a while ;D.

Oh that pink one was awful! I laughed the whole time.  Poor Garrus!

What was even funnier was Wrex in it - but that's beside the point.

Haha, that's what I miss about ME2.. dressing your squad up in funny colors . I haven't seen Wrex in the pink armour, might have to look that up ;D

I normally keep Garrus in blue or silver armors. It just doesn't seem "right" to me any other way. xD I also like to keep Wrex in red, and haven't had the heart to put any of the men in Phoenix (pink) armor, no matter how hilarious it is in screenshots and motivationals.

I have a question for you guys. When you start a New Game +, I know that Shepards inventory and armors carry over into the new playthrough, but what about the armors that were left on your squadmates when the last game ended? Do they move back into your inventory, or are they lost? I ask because I finally found a great armor for Garrus, in both stats and color, and I would hate to lose it before I have to replay my poor trap-romanced MaleShep again. Silverback took me forever to find, and before that... he was wearing army green for the stats. o_o It clashed with his tattoos.

You should try it at least once, like I'll be doing (eventually) with the Paragon path to play out the different dialogue. If you make Sidonis keep talking and then choose "I can't help you" from the conversation wheel, there's some really cool lines between Garrus and Sidonis.

Sidonis: No more sleepless nights.
Garrus: For either of us, Sidonis.

...Unfortunately for me, I accidently deleted my Shepard where it took me two playthroughs to find a specific piece of armor for all my squadmates. Now I have to find them all over again... I hate it when that happens.

Why should you read this story? Well... some people say I write decent fics. This one came out of my participation in NaNo 2011. It's a novel-length story and it's finished so it will be updated weekly and won't ever be abandoned. And... don't you want to know how Nihlus, the original Spectre of Mass Effect, would affect the events and the outcome of the first game? I know I did. Thinking about it tortured me until I wrote it down and now I will be biting my nails until I share all of it with you.

alright. i'mma double post since no one else is here. I'm just flipping through some of the random dialogue's here on the wiki, (i'm lookin for a quote for a commission from Tishaia on DA) and i found something interesting....
"Dammit, Williams/Kaidan. You're so focused on Cerberus that you're ignoring the real threat."

So ... he feels comfortable enough with Kaidan to refer to him by his first name? and not so much with Ash? this totally supports my theory that Kaidan and Garrus were totally bro's in ME1. (or more than that, cause I totally ship them HARDCORE)

Also... if you play a boy-Shep, I like how Garrus says that was getting all the attention before he got scarred up and that its now Shep's turn. that makes me happy.
