Arcana, Wrex looks frakking awesome there. I wish he'd pose for me! I can't wait to see him again in ME3! I love Wrex! Ok. I'm done blabbering about Wrex.

I had forgotten that most of those guys were still on the Normandy when it was destroyed, and one (either Tali or Kaidan, I'm guessing) would have needed to tell Garrus. The team was so close, I doubt they would have left it to someone like Anderson to tell him the bad news. And now that I think of it this way, I kind of feel bad for my Shepards, being without Garrus and Wrex. I mean, at least my MainShep was friends with Tali and Kaidan during ME1, but someone like my infamous Earthborn Ruthless... poor guy, his go-to squad left the ship.

Aw, my main shep had gotten an attachment to [ironically] the aliens on the team, they intrigued her immensely and getting to know their individual personalities drew her to love them. Pretty much Tali, Garrus, and Ashley. On occasion she spoke to Wrex often, and had grown to love the big guy.
Honestly, my shep had an attachment to her whole crew XP But Garrus was the #1. Im actually creating a character bio on my canon [inspired by Leonia's blog] - though im writing out her background into a small story.

I personally took Garrus on every mission, not because he was my fav character [ok there is that] but because she wanted garrus to see experience different things outside C-Sec. Kinda going back to his military roots since he WAS in the military. See things under someone else's command outside those silly rules XP

The Earthborn Ruthless I mentioned is the same one from my dialogues - Carson Shepard. He just gets along better with other "badass" types like himself, so he had more friends in the ME2 crew. In ME1, his only friends were Wrex and Garrus (which kind of amused him, with Garrus being a former C-Sec officer and him being a former gang member), and he would bring them everywhere. He didn't have much in common with the others, but I guess that's who he got left with. Liara, who gets him all paranoid whenever she wants to look around inside his mind. Tali, who he feels more like a guardian (father-figure) for than a war buddy. And Kaidan, who's just not crazy enough to hang around with him. I imagine that finding Garrus on Omega will be the happiest moment in ME2 for him, right up there with "death can't stop me now!"

And same here about Tali. She's out on her pilgrimage. She's new to the galaxy. My shep [which is a fem] was quite protective over her, and treated her like a little sister. And ditto also on Kaiden - He was one of my least favs. The usual soldier, but I did still like his character. He's a sweetie.
Oh gawd LOL! I [as well as my shep] were quite happy to see garrus for MANY reasons on Omega.
Do you have a bio on ur main shep? You have intrigued me

Carson's not my MainShep. He's one of my favorites though. MainShep is Kim Shepard, the one who loves Saren. I was in the middle of her playthrough when I joined BSN, which is how that ended up being my username. xD I didn't write down any bios for them (it would be novel-length if I did), but I have started to keep a chart of their choices throughout the games. After my 8-month break from the forums, I started to forget things about some of my planned Shepards/Hawkes/Wardens. Not Kim and Carson, but it's better to be safe.

Garrus' dislike for the rules is probably why he ends up being such a fast friend for my Earthborn Shepards, in spite of their old problems with the law. They really enjoy showing him what it's like to completely ignore the rules, and it's also a first for them to know that they can do all these things without hiding it from the cops. Yay, Spectre status! No wonder Garrus wants to go that route after hanging around with them. Also, Garrus telling Carson that he "learned from the best"... it was such a heartwarming moment for him.

And that's a cute picture, but part of the caption doesn't work for my FemShep who romanced him. ^^; She's a revenge supporter, so she had fun helping him kill Sidonis. Really, she seemed to enjoy it so much that I was surprised when he didn't just run far, far away from the crazy lady obviously stalling for time.

Collector's Edition Collector Assault Rifle (the armor itself is actually pretty good) 
That Assault Rifle is a quick-shooter, ... helpful a lot like say vs. husks... and my Shep having squad Cryo ammo she usually doesn't need to do anything much if other squaddie also has same gun

That explains why I didn't recognize it. I don't have the Collector's Edition. (It's funny though, that they would give Collector armor and guns in the Collector's Edition. xD)

I never noticed what Garrus is doing when I'm fighting husks. Maybe he's using his sniper rifle from behind cover somewhere, like the sane member of the team. You know, as opposed to my Shepards, who like to blast husks all over the place with biotics and those explosive crates. The ragdoll effect is hilarious.

@ what i underlined - jeez thats happening to me! HA! Before I knew it, it was paragraphs! I shorted everything after realizing. Im not even done yet. Its taking so long. Everytime I try to work on it, i end up writing ALOT. So i kinda avoid it every now and then ^.^;

@Arcana: Even my summary of the stuff they do in-game is turning out to be longer than expected. (The list for my split-personality Shepard was particularly long, with the romance section taking up two lines. xD) I didn't remember how many decisions there were until I started typing them all out. There are several just in Garrus' missions, from dialogue variations to Renegade interrupts, in addition to the regular morality choices.

That is a cool screenshot. A lot of my Shepards choose Garrus for team leader too.

@Vertigo: Thanks for posting those! It's good to have more pictures of ME3 Garrus.

Speaking of new screenshots - looks like we got a closer look at the Brute.

Turian and an Elcor and a whatever else....ugh. Would hate to run into that in a dark alley....
scratch that. Id hate to run into that period.

And looks like a thermal clip next to that dead quarian. Perhaps their own the quarian homeworld? Or just providing backup to a quarian crash site and well....some died?

Garrus will go everywhere with me in ME3. From the first game, it's always been a matter of deciding who will tag along with Garrus and me

I'm almost afraid of this game, with all the potential player punches there are when a galactic war's going on! I can always count on Bioware to toy with my emotions.

Garrus is definitely going everywhere with me, at least for my first few playthroughs. It's probably going to be Garrus and Tali most of the time, with the spoiler squadmates mixed in every now and then.

Er......i think i got bad news for all of us. Saren's gorgeous fringe with not of his own natural good looks. Its nothing more than something "modified" due to being involved with the Reapers X-x Ive seen a few "huskified" turians now, and they ALL have that fringe.



and theres another turian that can be seen, but its quite far and it happens quickly. If you watch the trailer, you'll see what i mean.

Oh, that's his natural fringe. Have you read Evolution? 18-year-old Saren and his brother, along with many other turians, had fringe like that. It just seems to be a normal variation that wasn't included on most in-game turians because they'd have to make another character model.

Ive just seen the usual screenshots - "fem turians" [which are hideous] etc. I dont tend to follow the comic as a "canon" way for concept art. Those are NOT fem turians.

I just find it EXTREMELY weird that the huskified turians have that SAME fringe. Even that odd shoulder pad Saren had too. Only the brute seems the have a regular fringe but thats probably because its mixed with other races.

I guess I don't see it as strange because in Evolution, it seemed like turians with Saren-style fringe were pretty common. He also had the same fringe on the cover of Revelation, which happened before he came into contact with Sovereign. I agree that the female turians weren't what I thought they would be, but I got used to them, and the turian kid was exactly as I imagined.

Saren's shoulder pads are partly his armor, unless you mean the one from the geth arm.
