I actually LOVED the second vid ;P Hearing the afternoon delight at the end made me laugh so bad cuz I recognized it instantly when it started playing XD

Oh Garrus....You are so complex to get with, arent cha you little sucker? All these "requirements" to be romanced with Garrus just adds to the fact that its that much more worth it!!!! Playing hard to get, eh, Garrus? I love a chase! I've chased that ass in 2 games. You bet imma chase it in the next one!

I'm used to the comic art. It was a bit strange when someone pointed out to me that the turians eyes are more human-like, but I've seen the same thing happen in movies where they want to show more emotion from characters with a not-so-human appearance. While this would be no problem for me, considering some of my favorite characters (the example I just mentioned is about Voldemort), I can see why they do it, and I don't mind as long as they still look cool. I didn't like the interpretation of female turians, and the humans besides TIM can look a little... off at times. Saren and Desolas looked great all the time though. And really, that matters more to me than anything else. Or maybe I'm just completely biased and think Saren and Des look great no matter what.

@Savage: Your modding skills are awesome, as always.  Good to see you back here.

@Garnet: Wow, that pic by Lordess-Alicia is amazing. I kind of want that to happen in-game.

Wow! Those pictures are amazing! More than anything I'm am DYING for garrus to be more...*ahem*..."hands on" I guess you could say  To really make up for his lack of contact in ME2, to be more comfortable showing affection towards shepard you know? I have a feeling we won't be disappointed since feedback from the leak suggests that his dialogue is very affectionate , so he's sure to behave in a more affectionate way too!

Both of you are so right!

We often hear people complaining that 'LIs dont have real personalities because they would romance any Shepard no matter what he/she does'.

Well Garrus is probably the one LIs most far from that if you take in account he will only romance a Shep he feels comfortable with because she took the right steps at the right time. Guiding him in ME1 is more important to him then simply saving him in ME2 since you cant romance him if you dont recruit him first in ME1. And if the rumors are right and you cant start a new Garrus romance in ME3 if you did not come closer with hims in ME2 then theres really just a small window of opportunity for Shep and Garrus friendship to turn into something more.

I like how it makes their romance arc stronger as a narrative. Even if Garrus is the sexiest Turian out there, the man's just too classy to get with anyone who doesnt say the perfect thing just as the right moment.

I think viewing the relationship as a one-nighter makes the least sense when it comes to Shepard and Garrus. The reason it works is there's so much history there (as evidenced by all the steps above) and their relationship is so strong, regardless of how you paragon/renegade him and how that relates to your version of Shepard. 

IMO, at minimum, it could be viewed as starting out as a friends-with-benefits arrangement, but it very rapidly evolves beyond that the more consideration both parties give it. I think it definitely does that for Garrus, and the more it does, the more afraid he gets that that Shepard will either change her mind or back out. That's an incredible vulnerability and a big risk even in a same-species couple. Of course, I also personally believe that while Garrus does mention he doesn't have a fetish for humans (which, to me, just says he doesn't fixate on them, not that he finds all humans unattractive), as the Turian himself says, "This isn't about that. This is about us".  It's about who they are, not what.

With that, I'm going to go get Virmire and the rest of ME1 out of the way so I can get on with the Garrusmancing. <3

 I've been working overtime since I found that Sidonis head in the Mass Effect files, and I threw together another little something for you Turian fans. It's more serious than what I usually do, but then Sidonis' story has always tugged at ye olde heart strings.
