None of the ME2 bunch will be available for new romances so it's just the continuing straight romance.
Is this based on the previously leaked script?

They seem to take it really well. Heck, most of them are supporting it. Even I am.
EDIT: And about Vega being bi, in the leaked script his lines are gender neutral, so not an actual confirmation, but as you said, he pretty much "screams" to be one.

I'd be stoked about that. I've been wanting to bone that Biotic since ME 1.

Didn't BW claimed that that leaked script is a really outdated version? If so there's still a *small* chance it might happen right? >_< Here's me hoping...

I wouldn't count on them changing /that/ much, really.

On that note, I would say it's Garrus's POPULARITY that took him out of the running for a same-sex romance. Bioware likely saw that he was popular with both the ladies AND the dudebros (rare), and decided that to change him AT ALL would be an unnecessary risk. He's at the height of his popularity, if they did something to his character, fairly certain the dudebro-fanboy fallout would be fierce. You may argue it wouldn't be a "change" to his PERSONALITY, but it would be revealing a new and sadly risky detail about him. Plus, there wasn't as large an outcry for an m/m Garrusmance as there was for m/m Kaidan or f/f Ash. Personally, I do think it was the safest move for them, fanbase-wise. A lot of guys can't take the idea that their bro would sleep with them if he had the chance, and... Garrus is known as a bro. If he wasn't as popular across the board as he is, I think they might have offered him m/m. As it is, it was far safer to leave him alone and focus on making characters people ALREADY argue about same-sex compatible.
We also have to understand that making a character available to both genders IS more work, especially with the amount of romances present in ME3. They can't make it happen for everyone. They need to record extra dialogue for femShep or manShep, adjust the animations appropriately, etc., and ME3 is going to be massive enough as it is. Hopefully we can appreciate the options we HAVE been given, especially since it's a first for a Mass Effect game. And considering this is the first time we'll have gay-only and lesbian-only romance options (if those are actually in the game), I think that's a step forward in terms of orientation-equality. I know it adds some depth and realism to the characters for me, anyway.

An asari walks into a bar, and the bartender says.... why so blue?
Also, Garrus is awesome.

Actually, I remember double-taking during ME1 when I took a look at Garrus in a helmet and - no visor!! That was strange, actually!
And yes, I'm lingering here because writing the prologue to my ME fic is driving me crazy, and my building has no water so I'm not at home actually playing ME2...(Which might actually help)... Gaaaah!

are you fu cken kidding me so who gay and if it just that kaiden and vege guy shoot me
Well
*spoilers*
there’s defiantly an exclusive m/m romance with a cool pilot name cortez who I've heard has great development (also a girl named sam who is strictly f/f) which is fantastic of bioware to do IMO
as for other m/m candidates there is a strong case for kaidan since you can have a new romance with him and I heard the dialogue is VERY gender neutral compared to the others (garrus for example you can tell it's femshep he's talking to) so the list will probably be;
Cortez: Gay
Kaidan: Bi
Vega: Bi
I'm not 100% sure about vega since I personally haven't read any romance confirmation about him from the leaked script.but he just screams new LI to me.
I think you're probably right in your assessment. I did read Vega romance bits and it also seems pretty gender neutral (like Kaidan's). Didn't read anything about this Cortez character but I'll take your word for it.

Oh yeah, and Wrex is in the pink Phoenix armour. Why they made pink armour which only fits the most manliest of men is beyond me :L

A hanar walks into a bar and the turian bartender says, "I'm sorry but I can't serve you.". "This one would like to know why" says the hanar. The bartender says "Because you can't hold your liquor."
God I'm terrible. And hanar might be able to hold stuff, I just don't think I've ever seen it.

I used to think they just kind of... floated everywhere but a video in LotSB showed that wasn't the case
They actually walk on the tips of their tentacles... it was weird to watch 0_0. To be honest there is a lot we don't know about the hanar.
