Aww, Saren. He looks so cool in hologram form.

This reminds me, when I first read the Genesis comic online and saw that Tali had a hologram recording of Saren in her omni-tool, my MainShep's first reaction would have been, "Why didn't you have this at my trial? Wait, never mind that. Just send it to my omni-tool. I want it." xD

I always give Lorik his evidence, even after asking about testifying - didn't click the blue or red, but rather the top right...

I like that Shepard has the option to agree with Saren's methods. My MainShep does, and she's not the only one.

The covered bodies of Garrus' squad was actually a nice touch. Makes one think about the final moments Garrus had to endure as the last 2 died in that bedroom. Awful. But the location of his main base really gave a good idea as to the process he likely went through when he arrived on Omega. The first few days were likely spent in familiarizing himself with the battleground, picking the most optimal cover and that apartment was just strategically brilliant with prime sniping positions everywhere inside their base. Had his entire team survived, anyone invading their base would never have made it to the stairs.
By the way TNT, your signature label made me laugh.

lol Thanks. ^_^

And I noticed that there was only 6 body bags (2 near the bed, 4 near the couch). Unless I missed the other bags and didn't see them, cause I think 4 are missing. Garrus did say that he had a squad of 12, including him, didn't he? <.<;

The Sarendoctrinator wrote...

@TNT: I never noticed that "Paragon = Hero, Renegade = Badass" definition! xD That's awesome.

I wouldn't have seen the body bags in Garrus' apartment either, if someone hadn't pointed them out with a screenshot on the forums. I'm distracted when I have to fight through stuff. Poor Garrus It's really sad to think that he had to look at them every day. ):

The first time I noticed them was...well, a few days ago. I finally took a look around the place and wondered what they were, then felt like an idiot for not noticing them at all through my other past playthroughs. :pinched:

I believe they're referring to the mad Salarian prisoners in Saren's cloning facility on Virmire. The crazy indoctronated ones!

Really? Wow, I can't believe I forgot that... must have been distracted during my last playthrough, or something.

And yay, more close-up screenshots! :D Garrus has some adorable expressions in some of these that I've never seen before, like the one with his eyes half-closed. Was he trying to blink when you took the picture?

I could be wrong, but that's what I thought of. And yeah, I think Garrus was trying to blink. I didn't mean to take that one. I go snapshot-crazy sometimes when he's on-screen! :o

I agree! We need Lorik Qui'in love! I wonder if he'd be interested..or turn Shepard down like Samara and Mordin.. He'd be super classy about it, of course, and make Shepard want him even more. S/he likes a challenge, after all!

I noticed the bodybags on my second PT and it made me sad~ Poor kid. He really needs a hug.

@BasementCat: Wrex says something along the lines of "smaller than a turian's right nut." I forget what he was talking about, though. He says this aboard the Normandy if you keep on talking to him. (in ME1)
Apparently, I can't read. XD. I blame it being late and trying to read the forums on an iPhone. Lol. I don't know where in game it says anything about turian's having three testicles. Sorry!
@everyone: I took a screencap of Garrus from the GT.TV episode tonight!

I played with it in Photoshop. The scene was pretty dark and you couldn't see him that well. Enjoy~ :)

EDIT: Typing on the phone sucks XD

Remind me, why is the squishy (as in not physically robust, not shield/health/armor-wise) mechanic constantly presented as some kind of alien martial artist who forgoes the use of omnitools, drones and tech abilities to run in guns blazing and Bruce Leeing her opponents?

Finally, I know I'm swimming against the stream with the idea that Garrus is ultimately responsible for the destruction of his team, but I still can't see what else you can call the factual event, if not failure? Accident? Misfortune? I don't dispute that his goals were valiant. But the endeavor did, undeniably, end in disaster.

Now, if you're reading this as me thinking that Garrus shouldn't be comforted, encouraged, and forgiven - then I'm writing it wrong. I do love him as much as the next person here - I just don't think that loving him necessarily means idealizing him into a perfect person. In my eyes, or if you will, in my headcanon, he's a deeply flawed individual and he knows it - which is why he hangs on to Shepard so desperately. And it makes him all the more adorable and irresistible.

Sorry for quoting you from 2 pages ago. I wasnt around yesterday and I happen to think what you wrote is pretty touching.

I guess youre right to say that the factual status of the Garrus' mission on Omega is a failure. I think in the end what were more arguing about is if Garrus himself IS a failure.

Like you say, Garrus is a flawed character and that makes him so interesting. For me, the center point of his personality is his idealism and thats where all his quirks and flaws come from. Like being reckless, impatient and not too good at dealing in 'grey areas'. An other important flaw he has is to see himself as less good or deserving then he is. I believe that it stems from him having such big ideals that he cant see himself clearly. It is mostly apparent in ME1 in the dialogue about leaving C-Sec and his father, and in ME2 in the dialogue about Omega and his romance dialogue. The point of it isnt necessarly to idealize him into a perfect person. Just that hes needs to know hes doing better then he thinks hes doing (of course being at odds with your own culture and hanging around SpaceJesus can make you feel like you'll never be good enough). Thats the kind of maturity hes lacking but it also makes him so adorable

I would assume that someone has modelchanged Shepard into Tali during Samara's loyalty mission and then picked a fight with the turians crooks.

I live that sleazy character and his 'I have a mate and a ship and only bring one of them to Omega' line

All I know is that Krogans have 4 testicles...I think.

@ SgtPepper667: Nice screen shot, I love how "glowy" Garrus' visor is. I know his visor was bright before but in a dark surrounding like that it will distract me throughout the game.

On another note, I like how in Omega, and Shepard gets poisoned by the bartender (surprised me the first time and lol'd so hard that I replayed that scene), that Garrus doesn't warn you at all about it until after you drink it. Did Garrus' get distracted by the asari or something that whole time?
After you went through the whole romance, I wish I was given the option to slap him in the face for not telling my Shepard sooner. Not a hard slap, just a "I could have died!!!" and "You knew all along?!" slap.

You can only do it if you're Renegade, though, IIRC.

Also, I'd like to see something like the above picture happen in-game.

Why? It would be massively out of character for Tali. She's not a physical fighter.

Hey guys!!! Man I've missed you soo! Well I miss this place to, avoiding spoilers and all. I did watch the GT trailer, which was awesome as hell. Though there were a bit too much of spoilers IMO, but I still thought it was awesome.

Well just wanted to say hi, and I'm back to lurking.

I  think garrus meant that he forgot to tell you about bartenders on omega not that he KNEW she was about to drink something. My guess is that he wasn't watching you.

"sorry shepard I should have told you"

Meaning sorry I should have mentioned the things you shouldn't do in this place

Apparently all your squad gets melee attacks now, so they're all physical fighters, to some extent.

Plus, I just enjoy seeing people get kicked in the crotch. Juvenile of me, I know, but there it is.

Oh, and TotP:
