......I just had an epiphany. Garrus's tattoos and armor are close to the color of turian blood, so he must look really badass to turians. Like the equivalent of a man in a blood red outfit like Vash from Trigun or having blood smeared on your face like Hawke. Maybe that's why so many turians serve in C-Sec lol.

The anticipation is killing me.

He does a brilliant job, I think. Garrus has the sexiest voice of any video game character I've ever heard. Not even sure what I like about it, but it's addictive to listen to. I was hooked half way through my first ME1 run.

It's pretty sad, but the main thing that has me so hyped for ME3 is Garrus. What am I going to do when the trilogy is over?

We can only hope that any Mass Effect games after the Shepard trilogy have an equally appealing Turian character in them. Though I'm still pushing for an RPG just about Garrus on Omega.

I think it's just how smooth his articulation is, he always sounds suave when he talks. I laughed so hard when I saw Brandon in that beer commercial during the superbowl. I immeadiately imagined Garrus and Shepard as the two guys.

I have to give Bioware's casting people huge props for this...they find VAs with incredibly awesome (and sexy) voices. I personally think Gideon Emery can give Mr. Keener a run for his money in some contexts, but hey, as long as they don't voice LIs in the same game, I'm ok, right?

Edit: Overall, I agree with the post about Brandon Keener's overall articulation and speech - there, I think he's a clear favorite of mine.

God, Brandon Keener's voice is so sexy...and that filter they added to it for the turian voice. *melts* I can't imagine Garrus with any other VA.

I agree about BioWare's ability to pick great voice actors. They all fit the characters perfectly, they're memorable, and the voices are a major part of why these characters seem so real and emotional.

I know someone already answered, but I would like to add that the amount of romance scenes seemed to be much more than ME2. I don't think anyone will say they didn't get enough content, as that was the main complaint after ME2.

My MainShep must look like quite the human badass then, with her camo-patterned red armor. That's a good point about turians and the blue blood/armor. In ME1, I always tried to keep him in blue because nothing else seemed to fit, especially with his tattoos (the colors would clash). Now that I think about it, his ME3 armor is the same color as the one I picked out for him in my latest ME1 playthrough, silver and blue.

Do turians have other eye colors than blue and green? 

I was playing ME1 and I noticed that the turian who is arguing with the hanar in Citadel has green eyes. 

I'm just curious.

There's definitely some with brown eyes. But it does seem like the majority are that bluish green radiant color.

Just did “eye for an eye “ My import is coming along nicely.

 I brought thane along for this mission because I think it works really well story wise.  I make sure to take him along before he tells shepard about his wife so that the reveal has a bit more impact.

Thane as you know, was in garrus’s position ready to gun down a target until irikah blocked the shot.

I imagine it was startling for him to watch shepard step in front of sidonis like his siha did when he first met her.  The deja vu probably brought back fond memories. When thane talks to shepard about her later, I choose this moment for shepard to have a moment of clarity

“she woke me up”

“she met my eyes through the scope...and my purpose faltered”

Her words were able to get through to garrus despite his anger because she means more to him than she realized.  I understand thane still falls for femshep even if you don’t romance him (calling her siha) so I also like to pretend thane was being gracious despite his own personal feelings.  That he saw something special there and was trying to subtlety  tell shepard “garrus cares about you ”.
Role playing is fun

@Hyrule Wow first time I hear that story played that way!
That makes for a pretty emotional roleplay session im sure.
Plus it integrates Thane's dialogue pretty well in the story without romancing him (which I usually find a lttle hard)

Garrus makes an amazing best friend if you dont romance him. I hope he helped your FemShep pull through all the ME2 crazyness without her biotic soldierboy by her side. We'll see if he forgives the VS for walking away in a few weeks;)

ok for the sake of starting a topic up i found something in the script i thought was funny (no spoilers promise :3 ) anyways i found a line that said

"If I hear one more crack about calibrations..."

Of which i can only assume would come from Garrus
Then theirs something i think Joker comments on when Garrus is on the ship....

'Hey, I know I used to rag on Garrus for being all angry, but I'm glad he's back.'
'There's a whole lot of crap out there needs a bullet between the eyes.'
'Plus, we might need something calibrated.
