I loved the reunion with Garrus. It felt genuine. He looked exhausted and yet very happy to see you, and Shep is all like "Garrus! Come and hug me! :D"
The "You nailed me good a couple times by the way" line also never fails to crack me up.

His and Wrex's reunions were the best in my opinion.

I completely agree. I sooo wanted to see Garrus get that almost-hug from Fem!Shep! (And I love the Wrex reunion. :) )

Those Valentine's Day cards are too cute!

EDIT: Near ToP - this is a Garrus/FemShep comic I've *really* been enjoying. It gets updated every week or so. (The link is to page 1 - it's The Spectre and Archangel, by ErsbethShadowsong. Enjoy! :) )

Oh, God. I broke down and read the leaked script with Garrus' dialogue. Omg, omg, omg, omg *fans self*. Ladies...BW has done a DAMNED fine job here. I cannot wait for ME3, I need it NOW. I have been squeeing almost nonstop for hours now and I've read it I don't know how many times. I am...goodness, this might well go down as one of BW's best, ever.

When you see it play out, you will NOT be disappointed (be it breaking down and reading the leaks or seeing it ingame for the first time, fresh).  BW so hit it out of the freaking park.  They turned it up to 11.  It is...phenomenal.  Oh, God, Garrus will forever be cemented as one of my favorite characters in a BW any game, ever.  This is perfect.  It just so fits them and omg, I am squeeing so hard right now, I think I popped my friends' eardrums! :o

Eradyn, I read the spoilers as soon as I could find them, and I said the same thing. :D So excited for ME3!

And that Garrus comic at the top of the page is really great. I always thought that was the best thing Garrus did for Omega too, giving people hope. I'd like to read the rest of it, but my deviantart seems to hate my PC, so I'd better not.

I thank you all for reading the script for me, because your reaction is all I need to pass time until I can see it in action. You're heroes.

I still cannot believe how this Turian wound up to be my favourite BW LI ever. Maybe because his character reminds me of Garrett from Thief:The Dark Project somehow.

You're welcome, it was a sacrifice I'm more than happy to have made. ;p Yeah, BW's going to have a tough time topping Garrus. He'll probably become some sort of internal model for them in future projects...or at least he should be. Across all three games, the development, the build up, the culmination, the characterization and keeping character integrity. It is just so perfect and wonderful and GARRUS. And he and Shepard, their interactions are soooo *gushes*.  THIS is how it should be.  It no doubt helped that he was never initially intended as a romance option.  It helped him be created and developed as his own character, not fan service or designed to be what they thought would attract a target audience.  He was just Garrus.  And it's worked so well and what they've done with him is so praise-worthy.

I read the other romance dialogues and interactions. Ashley's was also a really good one, I felt. I'm really, really glad I saved her, because Ash is one of the deeper, more complex characters BW's made. She is so human, and I mean that in the best, most positive way. Guys, if you romanced Ash...I think you'll be pleased. She kicks ass.

The others were good, too, but those two really hit some incredibly high marks.

I can't wait. I litterally can't.

Ash is one of my favorite characters. How's her non-romance dialogue?

I am tempted to ask someone to PM the Garrus romance dialogue to me and try to resist it for another month..just to have it.
I think I'll try to wait until after the game is released so it's not just sitting there, tempting me.
Ugh! I can just feel my will breaking!

The same.  Across the board, she was handled incredibly well.

Heheheh, well as with ME2, anyone wanting me to link or copy-paste something should PM me. :P Not that I'm trying to tempt you or anyone else.  I mean, that would just be evil and wrong of me...

All the spoilers I've read so far are great - the other romances too, but Garrus really stood out. :) It reminded me of the conversations us fans used to have on the old threads, saying what we wanted to see for Garrus and Shepard in ME3, and BioWare must have been paying attention. I think everyone who romanced Garrus in ME2 will be so happy with this.

Glad there are more ashley fans *high five* She's always been my femshep's sister in combat and when she wasn't around Jack filled that role.

That's exactly what I thought while reading this.  It's like they took the best suggestions/desires in all the Garrus threads and just...crafted one of the ultimate romance culminations in BW history.

Also, seeing some of the dialogue, I was laughing so freaking hard I had tears rolling down my face.  Especially upon realizing what else the poor devs/writers must have waded through to find that.

*High fives back* Hey, I love Ash.  She's my sister-in-arms and it'll be really nice seeing her back in ME3...especially after seeing all the love she's gotten from BW.  Between Garrus, Ash, and so many others...oh, goodness, all the spoilers have done for me is wish I had a real time machine.  That I don't is a crime, because this month is going to go by too slowly. :(

They really did make a perfect combination of the romantic and the way Garrus and Shepard joke around with each other. And the inside jokes. It's exactly what you would expect from best friends who become lovers.

Oh no, I forgot how... awkward some pages of the older Garrus threads were. xD The poor writers, indeed.

Ha, we were sooo bad back then.  I have no regrets, but BW probably does.

But yeah, you summed it up.  It's a perfect combination of romance, humor, love, tenderness, and ribbing.  "Best friends who become lovers" sums it up very succinctly.  Also, I had to crow a big "I told you they could do that!" to my friends regarding a certain...activity.  I still have warm fuzzies from reading all of the dialogue, it was that good.

*high fives back* She's one of the best written characters in the franchise. And she's badass. It's funny how I didn't mind her reaction on Horizon when I got angry at Kaidan. I don't know, it fit her character... Kaidan was pretty OOC.

They joke a lot? :D The more I hear about this, the more I want to openly squee...

I actually stayed out of most of the awkward, but for some reason, I ended up reading a lot of it. And I can just see their faces. They probably looked something like this, "Posted Image ... Posted Image ... Posted Image"

Yes, about the certain activity that a lot of people think Shep and Garrus couldn't do, I'm glad we'll get to see it soon! No pictures in the leaked script, unfortunately. (I realize that this may sound much worse than intended to anyone who has no idea what I'm talking about, so I'll just say that it's a lot more innocent that it looks when I wrote it. It's really very sweet.)

Edit: What an awkward top of the page post. Here, have a happy Garrus.
