Yes, about the certain activity that a lot of people think Shep and Garrus couldn't do, I'm glad we'll get to see it soon! No pictures in the leaked script, unfortunately. (I realize that this may sound much worse than intended to anyone who has no idea what I'm talking about, so I'll just say that it's a lot more innocent that it looks when I wrote it. It's really very sweet.)
Or like this LOL

as for the activity in question DON'T SAY , I probably can guess but don't say

Edit: What an awkward top of the page post. Here, have a happy Garrus.
Oh, you bet it's sweet; liquid sugar swee--oh, wait. We're tame here in the Garrus thread now. Right. Ahem. Yes. Innocent. It's all innocent. Not what others are probably thinking...
Really guys, it isn't dirty or anything. It's...
...Oh, great, now I'm back to squeeing and jumping in my seat.
I can't hardly wait to see this scene! I feel giddy! I shouldn't, I really need to go to bed...but...
And your TOP is appropriate, don't worry.

It's been weeks since I read the spoilers, and the excitement hasn't worn off yet. I really want to play out Garrus' romance (and I'm sure it'll be even better to see the scenes with the dialogue), but on the other hand... I have so much work to finish before ME3 takes over my time. I have my work next to me right now, and it's getting ignored in favor of Garrus discussion. Oh well. My day was kind of disappointing, so at least I'm all cheered up now!
@Anthro: Think of it this way - if people know there is definitely nothing to worry about with the romance, then some might actually feel less tempted to read the spoilers. Although, the hints and fangirl squeals counteract that a bit.

You're welcome, it was a sacrifice I'm more than happy to have made. ;p Yeah, BW's going to have a tough time topping Garrus. He'll probably become some sort of internal model for them in future projects...or at least he should be. Across all three games, the development, the build up, the culmination, the characterization and keeping character integrity. It is just so perfect and wonderful and GARRUS. And he and Shepard, their interactions are soooo *gushes*. THIS is how it should be. It no doubt helped that he was never initially intended as a romance option. It helped him be created and developed as his own character, not fan service or designed to be what they thought would attract a target audience. He was just Garrus. And it's worked so well and what they've done with him is so praise-worthy.
I read the other romance dialogues and interactions. Ashley's was also a really good one, I felt. I'm really, really glad I saved her, because Ash is one of the deeper, more complex characters BW's made. She is so human, and I mean that in the best, most positive way. Guys, if you romanced Ash...I think you'll be pleased. She kicks ass.
The others were good, too, but those two really hit some incredibly high marks.
I hope they clone him or something as an excuse to bring him back in future games. Would probably be lame and ruin the impact of ME3--the sense of finality or whatever--and it probably wouldn't be the same, but I'm so hopelessly addicted to Garrus.
I wish I had Brandon Keener's voice. I'd just talk to myself all day.

Oh, God. I broke down and read the leaked script with Garrus' dialogue. Omg, omg, omg, omg *fans self*. Ladies...BW has done a DAMNED fine job here. I cannot wait for ME3, I need it NOW. I have been squeeing almost nonstop for hours now and I've read it I don't know how many times. I am...goodness, this might well go down as one of BW's best, ever.
Oh man...that comic back on the last page is amazing. I'm about to go read page 70!

The one thing I care the most about in ME3 is Garrus's story and how his romance goes. AHHHH... Sooo tempting. I know nothing about how it goes (just that it's awesome). I don't know if it will be better to just wait a month and go into the game blind or give in to this temptation.

I'm sure they'll make it to where it's pretty obvious whether or not you get Garrus killed.

My best friend (who's also a mega Mass Effect geek like me) and I were talking about how we think that some of the big characters that the fans love may end up dying. I just hope Garrus isn't one of them D:

I've heard rumors (but only rumors) that some characters like Ashley, Liara, and even Tali can be romanced in ME3 if you didn't pursue one in ME1/2. Do any of you know if the same can be said for Kaidan and Garrus? It doesn't seem fair otherwise.

Even if he can die, it's probably not unavoidable. For one thing, they wouldn't bother to script an unavoidable death for a character who could already die in ME2. Secondly, if he DID die and there was nothing we could do about it, I'm pretty sure the people in this thread who spoiled themselves would be significantly less happy right about now.

I am soo glad that some of you guys read the spoiler dialogue. Seeing you all give it so much praise makes me feel at ease! Now I'm not so tempted to read the leaked stuff.
Actually, from what I've seen, it's Liara/Kaidan/Ashley (the ME1 romances) who Shepard can start a relationship with in ME3. I haven't found anything about starting a romance with a ME2 character in ME3, at least not Garrus. I thought the same was true for Tali as well.I've heard rumors (but only rumors) that some characters like Ashley, Liara, and even Tali can be romanced in ME3 if you didn't pursue one in ME1/2. I'm sure there's no need to worry about Garrus getting killed off with no way to avoid it (and I say this as someone whose favorite characters die more often than not). If there is a part in the game where squadmate death is a possibility, that'll be the first thing I find in the strategy guide on day one, so if you guys want, I can post how to avoid it here as best as I can without revealing any spoilers.
It would be awesome if you could post that. I was going to avoid the thread when ME3 came out, but I may come back if you do find the strategy

Well said, and I completely agree with you.
This is the reason why I find Garrus interesting. Of course, the morality plays the bigger role in it, but how the romance arc is handled with Garrus (and Tali too) plays a part in it as well. Even if the romance were done b/c of "fan service", it doesn't really matter, b/c BW succeeded in making it natural and well done. And that's what really matters to me. As long as romance relationships are well done, I couldn't personally care whether it is fan service or not.
(...) Guys, if you romanced Ash...I think you'll be pleased. She kicks ass.
The others were good, too, but those two really hit some incredibly high marks.
Well the reason for why Ashley's, Kaidan's and even Liara's romances may be the most well done is b/c they follow the Three Act Structure in their romance. Even Garrus and Tali may be included here.
But if anyone is interesting more in this, I would recommend you guys reading this post. It's really good.
