Yeah, that term itself isn't my favourite, but the line as a whole is fantastic.

And I'm with you on how it'd be awesome if there were changes in physical behaviour to accompany LI relationships ("shared head-bump on the battlefield?" :D) but you're right: May be too much 'fluff' for the game. :?

I'd say the implications are *very* strong in that script.  And apparently he does it "rather well." ;) Now that's a scene I can't wait to see play out!

And don't mind me, I've just always had a "thing" about using that word.  By the time I was 18 I had such a hard time using it and keeping a straight face.  Yes, I'm just weird.

totally off topic but I really want a moment in the game where Garrus and Shepard get trapped and are fighting back to back in a cutscene against a bunch of husks. they don't even need to be trapped but as long as a back to back fighting scene with them happens I will be very happier than I've ever been playing ME

If the leaked lines remain, it does seem to indicate a kiss -- I sure hope there's something. Hell, I'd be happy with some well done nuzzling.

Aww, I liked that he called himself that :)  That is what he is, right?  Should he call himself her "Turian sex slave" instead?

I'm hoping they'll have more loving animations between him and Shepard.  We've already had the head-bump so I what more and since it looks like Garrus won't be as "bulky" underneath that armor maybe there's a chance for hugging or a nice embrace <3

But what's with the too much fluff? :? I don't understand beause Garrus is so good with the fluff!

@Eradyn: Nah, you aren't weird. Or, at least, we both are, because I totaly get what you mean about 'that word', :)

@Darthnick: Okay, yeah, -that-? Would be frickin' fantastic. ^5

And, well, damn -- seems I got top post and I'd totally post a pic, but I haven't the foggiest clue how. <-- newb. :(

...okay, you're right. That line probably wouldn't be improved by the usage of 'Turian sex slave' And, nah, I don't think there's a better term to use, I just have a 'thing' -- a silly thing. ;)

As for too much 'fluff' -- I only mean in that I don't think Bioware would pour the resources into LI specific animations for the normal course of the game, barring cut-scenes, that's all. Though, hey, if I'm wrong I'll be a happy girl! <3

Yeah, something epic would be awesome. :D

Modified for the ME-verse, of course.

Hmmm, I could go with either "Turian sex slave" or "Turian stud muffin."   Either works. :P

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. xD

But no, I'm not saying "too much fluff" as in I couldn't stand it so much as "too much fluff" in that I see it as asking for a little much of Bioware...though I would love it if they put that type of fluff in game, believe me! It's just a little too much to put too much hope in, I think.  But hey, I'm definitely open to being surprised.

Hmmm...I can think of some other terms I might prefer ("mate," for example).  Boyfriend might be more relatable for some, though. :P  I'll just...mentally insert "turian sex slave" or something when it comes time for that line.

And yeah, agree with you wholeheartedly on the rest. ^^

Oh okay! That's cool :D  I know Bioware is working on sexy scenes for Kaidan from what I hear and one dev from a tweet did said that Garrus is getting lots of love! <3  I think if the other romances get specific animations then Garrus should do.  I will be sad if he's left out again!

YES PLEASE! :o

Actually, that reminds me of something I was musing over a while back: I'd love it if ME3 really drove home just how much Shep depends on their amazing squadmates to get **** done. I know the implication is there, but usually we see Shep as the centre of heroics. Don't get me wrong: I love that my femShep is a total badass and don't want her to go about being rescued like some damsel in distress. But she'd be lost without her 'mates - some more so than others, imo, but most serve their purpose - and I'd love it if that really shined through.

If it just so happened to be in some manner like the above pic, well, you know.... GLEE.

YES!  I would love it if Garrus just picked Shepard up when she's wounded during a battle.  He's like, "Babe, we have to go" and she's like, "Let me shoot more things!" <3

I think having squadmates really help Shepard would be great.  I usually end up fighting all alone because my squadmates get knocked out early on...Garrus seriously stop charging like a Krogan <_<

I wonder how Garrus will get along with the new ME3 squaddies. I think at least one of them will be on his level, since they seem to share a mindset (even if the squaddie in question is a tad bit more hardass than Garrus is).

That would be so cute! :D And yeah, my squadmates looooved dancing on top of crates.  The final battle in ME2 was teeth-gnashing...not because it was hard, per se, but because they kept leaping on top of the blasted walls as the reaper larva started going all

Garrus seemed to get along well enough with Cerberus personnel, so I think he's cool with the ME3 squad.  If anything happens, I'd think it would be on their end, as Garrus strikes me as the "let's set aside differences and work together to avoid extinction" type considering some of his ME2 dialogue.  He's all about taking care of business.

That's what we're all about here: love and unhealthy obsessions over turians.  Heheh, less than a month to go, just gotta hold on! There are so many lines of dialogue that are very sweet and/or funny.  While the one romance scene will probably go down as my hands-down fave, it's harder to rank the rest of them.

 Shep: "Dammit, Garrus! Turian's don't retreat!"
Garrus: "Right. This is called advancing in the opposite direction!"

Yes, Garrus and I had some 'words' the other night while chugging through ME2. "It's me Shepard!" "Taking friendly fire!" -- "Dammit, Garrus, I gave you a sniper rifle, get the hell back and SNIPE." With more swearing. Admittedly I play on casual and ME is my first shooter, so it could be me being the idiot as opposed to the AI.
<_<

 Love the dialogue!  I always play on casual except for Tali's recruitment mission when I have to play Hardcore to get that gun...and I always bring Garrus...and he ALWAYS charges ahead of me!  ME is the only shooter I've played so maybe that has something to do with it!

Okay, since it might not be really clear about this thread being a spoiler zone, I'll try to respect that not everyone read the OP.  (I wonder if it would be possible to update the thread title with it?)  So you'll have to highlight below to see the text.  Please remember to edit your post if anyone quotes me, to keep the text from becoming visible. :)

The highlight for spoilers is probably still a good idea until ME3 is released (or some part of it is seen inthe demo). Just so the readers have a choice which spoilers they wish to read and opt out in time :wizard:

Sorry to go back a page, but in regards to the... *ahem* line Garrus has about a certain relationship status... (SPOILERS BELOW)

Does anyone else kinda wish he still said "give them hell Shepard" to a romanced Shep? Because I think that's so something Garrus would say even to the love of his life. :D

Sometimes I wish Bioware had a spoiler tab, it'd be so much easier than trying to figure out how to do the invisible text thingy. Anyway, in regards to new ME3 squadies, the only one I can find ANYTHING about in relation to Garrus is Vega. They seem to have this sort of bromance going along.

Has anyone been able to find anything about this supposed LI confrontation that's supposed to happen? I romanced Kaidan in ME1 and Garrus in ME2 and am trying to figure out what I've gotten myself into.

I kind of worried about the 'love triangle' deal when I first heard about it, too. I have not read much at all of that leaked script, so I have no information from that source if any exists. Judging from past Bioware games? I'd say it really shouldn't be much more than one of the characters - probably whichever was romanced in ME1 - asking if it's true about 'so and so ' (ME2 romance), putting Shep on the spot and there you go. Pick 'Yes and it's still true' 'Nooooo.. of coooourse not?' or 'Yes, but I want you back', etc etc.

I hope it's not more than that, anyway. I'm very much opposed, personally, to the idea that Shep 'cheats' on the VS (it doesn't feel like cheating to me *shrug*) and hope there's not heavy handed repricussions. I can dig an uncomfortable conversation and perhaps the VS being less loyal to Shep if that's the case (they may percieve it as 'cheating' and all the power to them if it's an 'IC' thing) but hopefully not more than that.

My two cents and, like I said, I've not read much of the leaks so it's nothing more than hypothesis on my part.
